Heiko Laux's music never fails to astound me. The sound design and mixing on this track is second to none, I absolutely love it. The clarity in the low end is insane!
If you like it that's what matters. RA is probably just some dude with his or her own egocentric ideas of what constitutes taste. Laux has consistently produced good work. Taste always involves judgement, class, value etc and invariably it also involves some measure of repression. That's why snobs love it. Fuck marks out of 5
Brall Barp I've just read the review... I think it's a shame. First time i heard Hexagon it was in the middle of a mix and i just didn't know what it was because the album wasn't released yet. It was outstanding in the mix, i thought : my god, how deep this track is... You see, people are influenced by modern techno which often pretends to be deep/dark and disturbing. I discovered Heiko's potential with Apathism, don't reject your roots. Needless to say this review is everything but objective. There are just several ways to sound deep in the techno world and we're talking about an expert. Cheers to all Kanzleramt supporters.
