      He made a statement some time ago that he really wouldn't be on the show much due to health issues and he wanted to spend time with his family so he won't really be in any newer episodes.

    I have loved these episodes ya'll have been doing with the kids. It is great to see and hopefully it will help start a new generation of people that can go into these different trades. When the kids learn that this stuff can be fun and not scary they will get an enjoyment for it.

    4 kids each with a shovel in an 8x8 area... ok where's the outtakes of this episode where kids are getting bonked in the head and fingers nearly cut off from reaching down to pick up a bit of dirt while another one stomps down with his/her shovel.

    ridiculously over engineered for a simple sand pit!

    • @Exayevie
      @Exayevie 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yeah, too bad I can't find a show to teach me how to do things the quick and sloppy way. I guess we're expected to learn that ourselves

    • @Engineer9736
      @Engineer9736 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Most sand pits are made with much more effort than this. I recall one in public space where they used round concrete poles that slot into each other. And in the house where i grew up there was a sandpit with a concrete bottom and a cemented wall, even a pointy roof on top of it. It’s just a hobby thing to create a sandpit privately. One can make it as creative as they like.

    It’s sad to see Roger buy into the millions of years fairytales, as he’s showing the kids the fossil he tells them a fairytale about millions of years. If the channels owners are atheists then that’s OK but keep it neutral, show the fossil and leave it at that, no fairytales.

    • @Engineer9736
      @Engineer9736 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      What is the connection between fossils and religion? I’m pretty sure there can be fossils of millions of years.

    • @billypreston12
      @billypreston12 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Richard van Pukkem - it’s your right to believe them fairytales, show me the proof that the fossil he held is millions of years old, or any fossil for that matter, it’s all lies and stories. So you being pretty sure means nothing, you must replace the pretty sure claim with proof.

    • @Engineer9736
      @Engineer9736 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ok, there is a difference between that specific fossil being millions of years old and the possibility of fossils being millions of years old. Roger tells them that to impress the kids and let them fantasize about it of course. Still i don’t see any connection to religion (atheism) in this story.

    • @Mixwell1983
      @Mixwell1983 5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Fossils are scientifically proven to be millions of years old. Unlike religion, we have actual evidence of dinosaur and fossils but keep up with your fairytales.

      What is the connection between fossils and religion? I’m a practicing Catholic and Billy Preston is an idiot.
