That was otherworldly. Never heard anything like it before. She took soul music to another level. R&B can’t contain that. No genre of music can. It’s as if she’s an alien speaking an alien language that we could all still understand. It’s amazing how for the entire second half of the performance, she wasn’t even singing words, just notes, but was communicating a message to the soul of everyone in that room. You walk away from that performance healed, transformed, evolved, all of that. She needs to perform that on a super-stage so that the world can get what she’s trying to give. Chante Moore isn’t just underrated, but also under-appreciated. She’s officially at the top of my list of songbirds. Bless her heart and her vocal cords. May her future be blessed and may we be blessed to hear more performances by her.
