Taking the songs out of sequence even when they ran together without a break on the original album, lengthening songs like this one and sometimes even cutting parts out. Imagine "A Day In the Life" appearing in the middle of "Sgt. Pepper's" instead of at the end where it clearly belongs, separated from "Sgt. Pepper's Reprise" which itself was lengthened, and with the final piano chord faded out early. That's the 8-track version of "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band."
