I didn't quite understand how it would work at first, but your drone footage made it clear what you were doing. Thanks for that... FYI we have a white horse where I live too(North Yorkshire)...👍
Gotta admit, as much as I don’t like it, our old haybob did a grand job splitting swaths down the middle. There’s been some great drying days between dews and rain😬🤦♂
lovely to see the baler lost in a cloud of dust ...........seldom happens over here ...........have barley straw on the ground and is very wet ........shook it out all over the ground today and might get to bale tomorrow evening.... if the day blows up .........straw is like gold dust around here this year ..................
Great video Dan,is the metal handle control under your arm does that control the rake wings separately and the top door on the baler open,is that to see the net warp better or the bale thanks have a blessed evening
With a round baler you have to stop moving for a short while to allow the bale to wrap. In some crops short bits of straw will drop out of the baler and make a small heap. When the bale is wrapped the bits stop falling, then we reverse to pick up the small lost pile into the next bale so it doesn't block the following cultivation machine.
Brilliant work Dan. Great video 🚜🚜
Very interesting thought process, clearly well thought through. Looking forward to Vintage Thursday.

Great footage! What a lovely evening to be baling! My favourite time of year.

Thank you for the video Dan 👍, I don't remember the Kubota being vintage so I'm guessing you'll be using the 3095. 🤔👍
You need to get an old Bamford Muffler young man, it might work a treat on that job!
We had one of those many years ago , yellow if I remember but always thought it was called a wuffler ,every day's a school day 😊
It was called a wuffler although I seem to remember them being green with yellow lettering. But defo did a cracking job 👍
I've got one of those, it won't work with that size of swoth especially with a 5' or a 6 straw.

How’s the calving going Dan ?
ok, so non farmer question..why do people always back up when a bale is about to be ejected when using round balers but they don't on other types?
