Convertible Futon Bench | Reflectix Window Covers | Turtle The Vintage Camper Van Build | Part 5

Slow and steady, the renovation for our 1989 Ford Coachmen Camper Van named Turtle is coming together. We tried our hand at another pull out bench, this time giving our futon seating area the option to convert into another bed. Under the seating area we have our electrical system so the bed also has to be able to lift up to access it. We had a few design complications and some indecision with paint along the way but at the end we were satisfied with the results. Additionally we were so grateful this week for both of our moms to come together and make Reflectix window covers for us for ALL of our windows! Stay tuned for updates! We think so too! They both have a favorite spot on the futon (behind the drivers seat) and end up cuddling together so they can both get the spot 😂
