I've considered just changing hairstyle and shirt after every game so that when I record two parts of a video on seperate days it will just blend in naturally.
Shmerich here:) very honored to be harstems teammate of the month for 3v3 (it is the best game mode btw). I intially said "why" because i prefer macro games but i dont mind a zerg rush every now and again:) BIg Fan thanks for the inlcude in the video
Disagree. Best is 2v2. The matter of opinion of course. Too many different units in 3v3, especially with all 3 races present, makes it for very chaotic teamplay.
was hoping to see Harstem with Goblin in the 2v2 circuit, but didn't work out that way I guess. I agree that the three of them would make some formidable cheese together
There is no behind as an individual in 3v3. Your rush extension buys time and distraction. Fun quick 3v3’s to watch. Makes the vets angry, they expect long 3v3 tech games lol!
''Can you transport an allied units inside your own nydus?'' No you cannot transport non player units because the transport ability requires them to be ''player units''. ''Friendly units'' from ''allied players'' are designated as ''allied units'' where as your own units are designated as ''player units'' and all transport abilities require the units targeted to be ''player units'' with the very rare exception of the primal zerg devour and the kodo beasts devour abilities. Even if a data modder like me comes along and adds allied units to the list of accepted flags of the transport abilities, you come to find the next fairly serious glitch I have not found a fix for to this day, where even when the transport ability can accept friendly units, your allies, even with shared control set to on, will be un able to unload said units. This is caused by the cargo hold behavior its self. im uncertain exactly why. The transport ability and the Cargo behavior are strange pieces of data made to build illusions, created to give you the impression units are inside other units, when in reality how ever the transport ability puts icons inside its host transport units ui made available to left click to ''drop'' said units, but units never really move, infact the cargo behavior sets them to be hidden, invisible, invulnerable, un collide able and un-targetable, meaning when you enter units into a transport they never actually go any where, they simply sit on the ground, where they disappeared, under the transport pickup location, and simply teleport instantly to where ever it is they are being ''unloaded'' at, thus completing the illusion. When the transport is killed these units are simply removed by the cargo behaviors kill cargo command, or, in the rare case of the campaign Hercules these units get set to 75% max life and are teleported to the nearest (to the Hercules) pathable ground locations, hidden, placed under a drop pod actor, hidden until the drop pod actor is finished playing its animations, then revealed afterwards. To allow friendly allied players to use your transports, one must activate whats called ''share full control'' (which is toggled automatically when players leave) in the lobby settings, also known later as archon mode. Only in archon mode, with both players the same race, and same team, can units be shared in transports. Not to be confused with ''share control'' which does not allow financial spending or the use of mineral/vespene gas cost abilities such as morphs warps and construction.
In team games, you try to win the game, but you also have to know when to cut your losses and focus on helping your team win the game. Both contribute a lot to your MMR.
:D enjoyed looking for the proxy when they'd already found it and pinged you the info (in the natural) and the surprise of finding the terran base on the low ground, that you'd already found when first nydusing. Think talking was impacting your concentration a bit!
I am surprised that Harstem knows actual Sun Tsu tactics. Cutting off your own troops retreat path makes them fight more desparate because they know that they have to win in order to survive. The other side of that same strain of thought is to always leave an escape path for your enemy's troops so they have the option to retreat instead of standing their ground and continue fighting since continued fighting will only cause unnecessary casualties on you own troops. Keep in mind that surrender does not guarentee survival and Sun Tsu also suggested to apply tactics to make the enemy appear more cruel and mercyless so troops do not surrender. Of course this does not apply to Starcraft 2 since your units have no fear.
Honestly, when you play a game a lot, when a teammate proposes something crazy, I'm all in. There's plenty of standard games to play, and only MMR whores aren't trying to have fun :D
"This guy seems to have a bad day, so I will not respond to him." - proceeds to make a video targeting him specifically
The best Harstem-video i saw today.
It was also the best video I made on that particular day ;)
15:00 Wow that haircut transition tripped me so bad :)))
Oh wow! I didn't see that the first time through!

The Harstem sarcasm was dialled up to a smooth 3000 for this. Cracks me up. To quote that captain: Love to see it!
Nimrod was a famous hunter from the bible. Elmer Fudd was ironically called "Nimrod" in Looney Tunes, so now everyone uses it to mean idiot.
Also British planes from the late 1930s if warthunder did not lie to me
I'm sure that Dutch guy is a Harstem fan, he was just saying it was a theoretical victory for him.
Attacking your own creep tumor at 6:20 was a solid play
"Zadrot" means no life. Good eastern Europe lore drop from our boy Harstem
glory be to shmerich, the teammate of the month!
3v3-Team with Goblin and uthermal. Unstoppable

5:19 - Captain's knowledge of russian always surprises me.
6:16 that poor creep tumor
Finally got annihilated by the captain myself-just glad he wasn’t singing while doing it!
Was cool to see farscape fans playing! You did well in game, to be honest
@@ChristianSandviknes Thanks! Glad someone caught the reference 😆 Always fun to meet fellow Farscape fans!
@@RygelTheXVI its such a good show - now i feel like i ought to rewatch it again =)
I'm absolutely loving these 2v2 and 3v3 games.
Love the positive angle/vibe/attitude of the video
Two universal laws of 3v3. The early ragequit by whoever gets rushed. And every protoss rushes void ray into carrier.
Thanks for being you
That dutch was very upset, jezus
world needs to see team up with uThermal
Harstem didn't win, but he still got the victory screen? Maybe we should report this bug to blizzard?
Little did HetNoodlot know, he as up against a GM carrying 3v3 lol.
The guy is a 4k diamond which is pretty decent but shortsighted.
Nimrod is the mighty hunter (also is the name of a British (RAF) maratime patrol aircraft based on the Comet 4.
It is the first and by quite a margin the most important rule of team games: Always (yes, always) trust the guy, that wants to go one-base-all-in.
1:50 “minor” aggression?!!
WHERE YOU COME FROM, WHERE YOU WANNA GO THIS TIME OH!
Nimrod is an interesting name. It's the great grandson of Noah. It's also an album by Green Day. It's also a Saudi Arabian Death Metal band.
Shout out to MOLOKO team guy, he really had theoretical dub there
I’ve never seen 3v3 but still what a strange game
Awww.. Noodlot having an unfateful day. Huilie huilie!
Hard not to be ahead when getting free minerals from the guy who left.
het noodlot is the guy who goes "1v1 me bro" in team games XD

There is something wholesome about Harstem having discovered that 3v3 is good after 15 years.
:D enjoyed looking for the proxy when they'd already found it and pinged you the info (in the natural) and the surprise of finding the terran base on the low ground, that you'd already found when first nydusing. Think talking was impacting your concentration a bit!
You pretty much nailed the meaning of nimrod, never heard of zadrot though so we both learned something :)
Best Harstem video of the year, no, of the day!
I hope Shmerich sees this video and realises what a superduper bro s/he's been! :3
Thanks, i did:) really cool to be in a harstem video been watching him for years
We love you too captain
101 ways to 3v3 cheese.

Luckily I watch these on the computer, so I didn't have to scroll down and was able to subscribe even without his help despite my small Terran brain.
Very much behind guy did drop a gg emoji though right? Surely it counts as gg if you get smiley face!
Sad thing, to meet Harstem in 3v3 I'd have to drop quite a lot MMR. Would have been fun, but also I play way later.
15:09 What the hair

Did Harstem cut his Hair in between min 15-16? :D
Theoretical win
666th like deployed!
