Im a 14 year old girl. I've been a "christian" for most of my life. I recently started reading the bible every day during quarantine! I've grown my faith so much during this global pandemic. I'm so grateful that God is using this hard time to make new wine out of me. Our God always finds a way. ❤
I believe this word was for me today. I recently lost my grandfather after praying and believing that God would heal him.Before then, I had been praying for things to change financially for my family. Admittedly, I was beginning to lose hope. I was on "the porch" with the woe is me syndrome. However, I don't want to make any lame excuses . Lord I want to be made whole. I am deciding to believe God again in spite of what I see. Thank you pastor for this word!
This sermon felt like it was 11 minutes😩... I still wanted to hear more🥺, that is how good it was. I thank the Lord for always giving me sermons that relates to my current states of life... And I am really grateful that I get to watch these great sermon's online. May my soul continue seeking the Lord even when my mouth fails to praise and worship him correctly.
As a public health professional with a disabled child, this Bible story always broke my heart. I couldn't see Jesus being as harsh to the man as some preachers described. I loved that Pastor Madu explained that Jesus approached the man with compassion. He wanted to heal him, but the man also needed to surrender his lame excuses. The miracle happened when the man agreed with Jesus to no longer lay down but to get up and take his mat.
I live in Dallas TX and listen to Social Dallas and Elevation Church and Lakewood Church online before going to work as a nurse. I thank God for these sources before going out to take care of others and also get my own self right.
This generation has awesome pastors,, hope young people realize it. Alot of us would of never left church with this kind of teaching. God bless you dude!!

This was for me!! For the last week or so I’ve been hearing God say to me “Do you want to get well?!” I thought how funny it would be if the church sermon was on that. I went to my home church and it was on spiritual warfare which hit me hard also and all I could think is NO MORE EXCUSES. but them TONIGHT!! it was on exactly what Gods been saying to me and on NO MORE EXCUSES!! I’m in disbelief at how much he loves me to have a word just for me.
That can pastor Steve for all that you've done for me that God has used you as an instrument and my healing I suffered from triple heart failure double kidney. Failure never failure services to deliver diabetes and I was in my hospital bed and all I could do was worship God and through your messages God had to use you. As the instrument of my healing and I just want to thank you. I'm from Long Beach California a man.

Pray for our housing situation.
