I'm a British Indian> To all Indians living in India, why can't we be more like China, when it comes to street cleanliness? I think make the streets more clean, traffic laws need to be implemented and beggars need to stop haressing people. That will change the image of India, and no doubt more people will want to visit.
You cannot compare India directly with China. China used iron-strong policies to shape their young for generations to be able to get where they are. India is a democratic country and getting stuff done here is insanely difficult. Because if the government says that throwing trash is a punishable offence, the police wouldn't be inclined to follow through with it because they don't care about the civic sense themselves. The police would even abuse the law to extort money from people with the pretext of upholding the law. A big portion of young Indians (like me) are frustrated about the ecosystem here and want change. But this has to be a community effort.
China is an authoritarian state. They'll just ban social media and arrest people who litter and give them harsh punishments. That's why they changed extremely fast. India as a democracy can't do that. But you can ask the authorities to improve infra and punish those who litter. I'm from Kerala and people here changed. If we can change, those in North India can also change.
@@sriharshac673 that's a cope, other countries did not need iron clad rules , they just had good rules , people who followed it, and people who charged them if they broke the rules , you ever ask why some of those Indians just chuck rubbish out? People are not wise and are corrupt, added to that India is a democratic country. This is the main reason intelligent leadership cannot take everyone along in a democratic country.

Travelling to 10-12 named cities out of 4,000 cities in India doesn't cover the 85% of India. 21.7% is forest area and population wise only 31% (2011) now maybe 40-45% of the population lives in Urban states. Had watched your India series a few months earlier. I appreciate your approaching this topic with nuance and discernment. What is your view on Bald and Bankrupt 's latest video on India? Don't you think his video was very unfair and borderline racist?
I have lived in India for 32 years. Bald's video is very mild when compared to the stark reality. I would show the smaller towns villages where women and men sit next to each other in the open field to defecate while men ogle. Most Indian trains don't have proper washroom, just a tiny hole cut on the floor. The shit around the hole stinks up the whole train.
Although i agree on what are you talking about and your criticism, I watched your india series videos you didn't criticized too much at that time, because obviously you wanted views by indian audience and use them to grow your channel. We visited India and there are far more good things than bad things, I'd like to say. Although the general attitude to cleanliness in most places must be counted among the bad. But still, the diversity of ancient Indian culture is quite an experience which makes me overlook a lot of negative things willingly.
As an Indian, I must say that your perspective is SPOT ON! You have understood Indian places really well in your 7 weeks here. The southern cities are cleaner, people are more civilized, respectful and the 5 southern indian states contribute more than 1/2 of India's economy with 1/4th the population. The people of Bangalore are fed up of economic migration from the northern states, whose people are destroying our city by imposing their language, dirtness and caste & religion based politics. Btw, if you intend to come again in the future to india, request you to check out the western ghat rainforests in Karnataka & Maharashtra, Ladhak, Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Andaman Islalnds, Meghalaya and other north east indian states. People in these regions are extremely friendly, respectful and clean unlike like Hindi Speaking Belt.
This is like saying Kensington is not dangerous as there is no stuff market there. Appreciate your honesty.. And yes India needs to clean up. Their streets as well as their mindset.

have been to old Hyderabad and it was amazing. So much culture and history and the food was amazing.
@@ParisBaguetteChannel-y1d it's chaotic as hell. The only reason to go to old Hyderabad is to check out the "Charminar".
@@sriharshac673 I see your point and wish India will one day chanege their ways of cleanliness and be as clean as Japan South Korea, China one day.

People are not wise and are corrupt, added to that India is a democratic country. This is the main reason intelligent leadership cannot take everyone along in a democratic country.

@@ishu.7 80 crore ration card holders and not every ration card holder is taking free ration. A country whose 68% population lives in green villages has 85% worst places? Is that even logical? I think you never got out of your city that's why you think 85% of India is worst. Travelling to 10-12 named cities out of 4,000 cities in India doesn't cover the 85% of India. 21.7% is forest area and population wise only 31% (2011) now maybe 40-45% of the population lives in Urban states. I have lived in India for 32 years. Bald's video is very mild when compared to the stark reality. Lmao this is how you cope when truth is shown, I've been to those places and they are amazing, and the poverty is actually caused by rich pricing out the poor, but guess what even the poor in san Francisco live better then places shown in these videos, why don't you do something about it
@@Killa_3 I have no problem with truth being shown but no Indian roams around picturing poor neighborhoods and telling YT to not visit. My country may not be rich yet but atleast we are an ascending power not a decling one.
@@warrior_1101 that's because Indians don't make you much of the global tourism compared to others , they also can go to the poor parts, and they are better, no on is saying India is getting better , but if some places can't even keep there area clean or follow rules ,then those places need to improve, he didn't ask them to chuck rubbish outside and let dogs run around did he ?
Right bro kush galt nai kaha apne 👍🏻
Sahi kya kaha. Delhi ke baare mein kuchh pata bhi nahi hai inhe. South Delhi ya Lutyens Delhi ki jagah Jaan buchkar old Delhi jaate hai.
Delhi is a disaster
No wonder so many locals recommend to avoid it!
Old*
that's old dhie
Just avoid Crowded Places in Delhi State like-Old Delhi, Chandni Chowk, Pahargunj area in Delhi City. Otherwise there are plenty of Wonderful Places to explore around Delhi and NCR Region-Gurugram, Aero city, Faridabad, Noida, Sanjay Van, Hauz Khas, Agrasen Ki Baoli, Bhardwaj Lake, Tughlakabad Fort, Bhuli Bhatiyari Ka Mahal, Bijay Mandal Fort, Buddha Park, Mehrauli Archaeological Park, Sunder Nursery, Majnu ka Tila Tibetan Colony, Satpula Bridge, Jahaz Mahal, Pusa Hill Forest, Jahan Panah Forest, South Central Ridge Forest, Millenium Park, Asola Wildlife Sanctury, Jamali Kamali Tomb, Roshan Ara Heritage Garden, Talkatora Fort Garden, Deer Lake Park, Qila Rai Pithora.
@@dunneytravelsI can't understand for you every India places is very bad and why you remaining silence on other developing country
Avoid old Delhi and old Hyderabad.
Don't avoid them. Do your research before you go, know what to expect, and if it doesn't appeal to you then don't go. But don't blame those places because they don't bend to your uneducated expectations.
I love Old Delhi, but I know that I won't go 10 minutes without someone trying to hustle me. I know what to expect and I know how to enjoy the beauty that coexists with the chaos.
When will you come back again?
Hopefully soon :)

I'm from India and I agree with you ❤
Most cunning of you guys like true Brits. You published diss video after you gained views.
they're being honest, India is disgustingly dirty and people are a holes
Migration is main problem,,,,
India claims to have the fifth largest GDP in the world, but it can be seen from the poverty reflected by these bloggers' videos that India's economic statistics should not be actual data.
India (Bharat) was a country with one of the world's oldest civilisations and urban cultures (Indus Valley Civilisation), with drainage system and water supply, etc. but today so many parts of India are really dirty. Although there are many more clean and beautiful places as well in India, including Mawlynnong (the cleanest village in the world, that's in the state of Meghalaya, India). Every lane in India needs to clean up as soon as possible. Because otherwise, India is really beautiful. It's one of the most beautiful nations. 🤍
哇 这视频场景 谁敢去 吓死人的

3 places you mention 2 of them are Muslim majority areas Old Hyderabad and old Delhi. Muslim areas in india are the most densely populated, most dirty and most dangerous.
