She’d properly complain if she did get hurt, because it wouldn’t be her fault, she’d blame the guard and say he wasn’t in control of the horse. I’ve seen this women on several posts. The posts range from her getting shouted at for holding the reins, then complaining to the police about getting shouted at, to her trying to give the horse a drink, to her just standing there annoying the horse and guard. She in a menace, who doesn’t care that she’s upsetting the horse.

I’ve watched all the clips of this woman, because her behaviour was really strange. Now I’ve watched them all, I think my initial feeling was bang on. For one, I believe she’s dressed in red to look official, like she’s supposed to be there. She’s acting like she’s there to keep on eye on the horses. And to arrange photos. I’ve seen her several times telling people where to stand, and asking people if they’d like to touch the horse. She’s chatting and laughing loudly to come across as very confident and comfortable in the situation. She’s acting like she’s got a special bond with these horses. Which she clearly doesn’t as the way she touches them, shows some fear and hesitation. But she’s definitely trying to come across as a horse person and to be connected to the Kings Guard. Her ignorance and inconsiderate behaviour towards other visitors is disgusting- refusing to move for people to take photos, or allow anyone else time to touch the horses is really rude. I saw several people standing behind her, waiting for their turn and eventually walking away. She really should have been moved on. If I had been there, I would have happily told her that her behaviour was out of order. The guards and the horses are there doing a job, they are gracious enough to allow people to interact with the horses, but the public need to be respectful of them - taking photos, and giving the horses a pat is fabulous. But this woman is massively disrespecting the privilege, and the fact the guards can’t tell her to piss off! Not only that she’s generally disrespectful to other people wishing to share a special moment with these beautiful horses. She most definitely ruined a lot of peoples photos and experience. The only reason I can think of for this, is that she’s probably a lonely person, who is probably ignored most of the time. And she definitely planned her outfit and went to the Horse Guards Parade with the intention of feeling like part of something important. As annoying as she is, I do feel sorry for her slightly.

Like you said she could well be lonely and to get out the house to see these gorgeous horses could be 1 of the only joys she gets out of life. I’m the same in some ways. I don’t have many friends. I love horses and I ride so seeing these beauties would really make me happy. As the saying goes “don’t judge a book by its cover”

She has even tried to feed them an unknown liquid. She had been dubbed the lady in red and police have moved her away a number of times.

These HORSES are NOT for petting. These Horses are SERVICE ANIMALS and have a TASK to do every day. They are Not to be petted while they are on Duty just like a SERVICE DOG and this woman encourages others to pet the Horse which is wrong, as she dose Not Own the Horse. Nor is she in the employ of the Royal Guard. She stands and Laughs all day like an insane individual who is out of control and she has disobeyed the Guards that have told her to leave. She reminds me of this little girl I saw at a petting zoo. She kept hogging the animals and feeding them. Wouldn't get out of the way so other kids could have a turn to feed them or pet them. Other kids had to ask her permission if they could touch the animals. As if she worked there and owned them.

These HORSES are NOT for petting. These Horses are SERVICE ANIMALS and have a TASK to do every day. They are Not to be petted while they are on Duty just like a SERVICE DOG and this woman encourages others to pet the Horse which is wrong, as she dose Not Own the Horse. Nor is she in the employ of the Royal Guard. She stands and Laughs all day like an insane individual who is out of control and she has disobeyed the Guards that have told her to leave. She is NOT a tourist, as she is there all the time. For the safety of the Horse and the Guards on the Horse she should be removed for the area and warned not to return. She just may cause an accident with her Harassing of the Horse.
