I used to hate John Romita Jr.'s style when he took over X-Men, but I was a kid. His style on other titles eventually grew on me and I love his artwork now as a grown up.
Love JRJR, one of my all time faves, met him quite a few years back now at NYCC, couldn't have been nicer, a real class act, I'll buy anything he does, awesome.
Went out of way to give me an autograph couldn’t have been nicer & down to earth love his stuff, besides the kubert bros I think one of the best sons to follow their dads - legends
Oscar Ramos does there have to be a reason? art is art, its is good OR bad through one person or another. I dont like it as well but everyone shouldnt HAVE to like JRJR. I've seen some people hate Jim Lee's art which i think is crazy but i respect the differing opinions
Everyone JR Jr is made of blocks and their muscle structure isnt human. Like wirey aliens. Plus his scratchy shading style. So many unnecessary lines. It kinda works on grittier titles but he draws the worst Superman Ive ever seen. Having said that, I really like his Daredevil and Punisher, and his Batman isnt bad.

This is actually what many people said about Jack Kirby. I think their styles have a lot in common.
@@Pyro-Moloch JRJR's style is basically Kirby layouts with Romita SR pencils inked by Frank Miller.
I'm still not a fan of his art style, but I can at least admire the craftsmanship. He's definitely no slouch.
Met John Romita jr. And he was an absolute great person to be around he told me I can become a comic book artist and it still inspires today

One of the all-time greats & classic Kirby style art.
@Comic LoverSame, the only time I ever saw that blocky style was in his run on Thor, but to each there own
He's nothing like Jack Kirbys art.
One of the nicest guys in the biz

I love JRJR and I think he's at his best working on big guys with pointy things on top of their heads: Daredevil, Wolverine and Batman.
Not a pointy headed character but his run on punisher war zone in my opinion is one of the best takes on the character
I have followed his art for over 30 years. He is amazing!!
Love Romita Jr. We need this guy back on Amazing Spider-Man
This aged well!
I'd honestly rather see him do FF.
You must be amped lately
guess what
@@danieletavaglione9615 don't say it..... I have a headache

John gets a lot of criticism for his art these days, but his stuff on DD and especially Punisher War Zone is so good.
Jr jrs STORM is one of the Best versions ever
Very cool. They need to continue that DD series in the full MCU.
He's one of the best!!
