The McFurrby happy meals were pretty cool!
My fave Happy Meal tie in is the one for 1979’s Star Trek: The Motion Picture. I don’t think the original Star Wars of 1977 scored one, but Trek was said to be the first sci fi film to do so.
I got a miniature hungry hungry hippos game from a happy meal once
I remember going to McD's as a kid and begging the guy behind the counter to give me the toy I wanted instead.
Sometimes they listened sometimes not.
Now though I get my choice EVERY time.

Being a parent of 2 eighties kids, IMO the best toys were the replicas of menu items (french fries, milkshake, hamburger box etc) that could be manipulated into robot-type figures. I think I seem to remember McDonalds offering something similar another time except they could be turned into dinosaurs.

One of my favorite Happy Meal toys was the American Idol microphone. It actually worked without batteries and electricity. It had a spring inside that amplified the person's voice when they would sing or speak into it. It was so cool that my middle school Spanish teacher used the one that came in her son's happy meal in class on days when we had to sing the days of the week or the alphabet for a quiz grade

I heard that McDonalds where forced to limit the giveaway of Pokemon cards even at their own restaurant because there were just too many people wanting to get the cards. They would then give a pack of cards like once a week or something. At least,that's how it goes in my Country. Not only that but the twenty fifth anniversary of Pokemon has been a huge thing. It is crazy because the franchise started in the late nineties. So of course this has been s big success. Most of us adults are grown up kids whose Pokemon are part of our childhood. This is why many adults today still love Pokemon and many pass this interest to their kids. Pokemon,what a special franchise that gathers everyone from all around the world.
Yeah, everyone who’s not a hardcore Christian who think Pokémon is satanic, even though it isn’t.

In my opinion McDonald’s not only has delicious tasting cheeseburgers hamburgers French fries pies and even their soft drinks but they also have cool toys as well by the way I used to have a furby when I was little the one I had was not from McDonald’s but it was still a furby and it’s actually true that furby’s are indeed an annoying toy unless a person actually enjoy having their furby keeping them awake at night which was actually possible but I can’t imagine anyone actually enjoying being kept awake at night even if it’s a furby at least the furby’s from McDonald’s was not annoying at all by the way this was another incredible video keep up the super incredible work

Okay so as far as good McDonald's Happy meal toys go are we not going to talk about the Barbies and the Hot Wheels phase or the little cabbage patch dolls phase and I we especially not going to talk about when the 1995 original mighty Morphin power ranger movie came out and how McDonald's capsized on Happy meal toys from that movie. this list is bs. where the Pokémon toys that came inside actual pokeballs from burger King back in 1999? I remember being a kid and going to burger several times to get them all. the hype was ridiculous lol
BK also had Starwars toys, I can’t remember if it was Attack of the Clones or Revenge of the Smith, I used to collect both when I was little, now I just try different beers and burgers 🤣🤣
This is'nt the only list they made I think. I think it was mentioned in another list. However,McDonalds did a lot of Pokemon toys throughout the years. Also,keep that in mind that the 25th anniversary has been a big deal for quite a while,now.

The BEANIE BABIES was the most nuts thing i ever saw I had a co worker who acted like a play by play guy that told me who was going out for BB's day in day out it got so crazy people would come up to me and give me the food just to have the toy it was so funny now I hear they are worthless because so many of them were made in mass production
