When I first played soul shatters as an average Roblox kid I got destroyed cause I barely knew how to do anything and still had fun but after getting older and going through a gpo training arc I really started to love it I wish it could be revived
SS was my first ever fighting game ever, i remenber those time i spam Blaster 3 and 4 on random people and leave. But after knowing Lock On and actually learn how to combo. SS went from average game to Amazingly fun game, i met so many good friends from that and it was amazing. But after the knowing the Rework might not gonna be there anymore, which makes me sad. Though i might not gonma touch SS anymore, it still hold so much good stuff back then. Really hope SS was both fun and amazing when it last
Soulshatters was the best game i had ever played, i remembered back then when i came home from school i would hop into my PC and play ss but i was really trash at the game and i thought i couldn't press the button when all the people can because i didn't but when i discovered when you press L on a dummy or a player and finally use the moves because i didn't press L and thought i need to get better and know the game more but i was extremely happy and had excitement because when i use the moves on a player, i noticed that now i am doing a lot better than before because i press L and can also challenge people in the game, i used to love Ss so much because of how amazing the game is but now i'm not a kid anymore, i just started to watch Soulshatters videos because literally i watched you so many years as a kid while you played Soulshatters and i enjoyed your videos but sadly i couldn't press subscribe because i didn't had a account back then but from now on, i won't stop watching Soulshatters videos and the game is nostalgic and not only i miss the game, i miss my old friends, excitement, happiness, your old videos and many more, the fact that the game won't come back anytime soon made me sad and depressed, i miss old soulshatters.
Even though Soulshatters is a game practically forgotten by its developers, theres still something in this game that no other Roblox game of this style will be able to replicate, the fluidity that Soulshatters has is totally different from anything else. There are so many great games that were inspired by SS, with new mechanics, different characters, but still, it's not the same thing, it just don't feels as good as playing SS is.
Man, I loved this game, I actually remember when SS had on GTC, Asriel and Sans. No menus, no overly complicated combos that would be infuriating to sit through but still somehow fun, etc. This game has had Its ups and downs, but I really do hope that Bunny regains motivation eventually to make the game Regain its charm but still by the time it happens (If it does) then the game will be long dead so it's best to try and scrape and charm out of the fan games and move on, I guess.
@@Kinreos Most fangames (UTPR, AB, RBP, etc) don't have the charm that soulshatters had, and altough UTPR is a amazing game(So are the others), I personally think it (UTPR) strays a bit to far from the og content for my liking and doesn't have that soulshatters charm aswell
soulshatters back in release days / year 1 genuinely used to be my most favourite game ever. it was one of, if not, the first fighting game i ever played… and holy hell man, it was fun. i remember waking up, doing what i needed to do, hopping onto ss for the rest of the day, and sleeping. my dream was not only to become a content creator for ss, but to meet my favoruites at the time (silavet, tama, etc…) unfortunately now though, ss has devolved into a toxic, sweaty, exploiter cesspit, with nobody being able to recreate the original charm and feel of old ss. sorry for the ramble, old ss just means a lot to me. thanks for all the memories, bunny.
I used to adore this game. I would hop on it any chance I got. I remember meeting you there and we became friends from there. SS has completely fallen off, the new devs have ruined everyone's favourite characters, which is what caused the game to fall off in general. I remember playing my mains (Delta and UTF and GTC) and using my cnps on utf and delta and just absolutely demolishing everyone. my utf teleport combos, the endless ones that only took like 25% of my mana which dealt like 300+ damage by the time it was finished, my delta combos where I would teleport practically around the entire map until I ran out of mana or my opponent was dead. utf and delta were my favourite, and I quit ss since the game received its 'best update' as the devs would call it, which instead nerfed them to the ground. the only good utf change imo is the fact that you now spawn at LV. 20, but it removed all the fun of grinding. I've now switched to a game called Arcane Odyssey (you probably see me playing it a lot when you're online), it's a very fun game
Small correction: GTF 3 works as usual on phase 1, but the enemy gets I-frames on phase 2. If I'm not wrong the devs made this change to "stop GTF to combo and do TODs so easily" Seems kinda cheesy of an excuse to me

i used to honestly really enjoy this game but ever since i got into deepwoken games like SS aka with true stun are just gonna be boring and frustrating for me. So even if the game returns i likely wont play it and its not only me a lot of people who played games with no stun or half stun are like me
Another thing to consider is the exploiters. In the past there were completely custom characters not in the game, things like Underplayer and swap-sans. While most were broken (who coulda guessed) They were at least original and you could have fun fighting one for a short while, like a mod event ingame, but more common and not officially endorsed. Now all we have are crappy fly hacks and inf mana. Completely ruining the charm and killing off the quote unquote "good exploiters" and leaving only the bad.
SS was the first actual fighting game I played on roblox, it was also the first game that cultivated my hate toward teamers. I at one point got to such a level with GT Frisk that teams of 5 would start praying when my 2nd phase started, and at one point I mastered old sans into getting clutch wins. I lost interest in the two fangames, they are good but they really lack the magic that SS had. RIP SS.
Yeah the game devs of fan games really screwed up the game by doing some weird stuff… I remember test place reborn was pretty fun until they just smacked us with an update that ruined the 1v1 arena mode where your stamina drains uncontrollably and randomly and then they made it so you have to continuously hit someone with your m1 combo like holding mouse one or else they would just dash away, basically it was just they removed the stun frames so you couldn’t hit slowly to get more stamina or do any cool or fun combos and they nerfed frisk which kinda ruined it for me.
I played ss back in a day, I don't care about all of it coming back or not All I can say that if you really loved playing it, it will live in your memories Nothing ever lasts forever
It’s kind of hard for this game to get back players if it’s not available to most of the Roblox players, you can’t lie that most of the Roblox community is mobile closing it only to Pc really keeps it from gaining a lot of players. The fan games, nip this problem and made it where it was available on all platforms except AB.

I Feel like the Soulshatters Era all in all is dead. Unless Bunny makes a new game, we can only try to find other fun games. For me, from the day that the Frisk Exp grinding was taken out i quit, thats what made Frisk fun to play. But oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

SS was my first undertale pvp game. It was indeed good when i played first time I did not even know how to Select characters lmao When i watched some gameplay of soulshatters I was like "Ohh that is how i select characters" I used to main old sans That time new sans wasn't there. Well until sakyua was added Like bro the barrage it does literally eats sans stamina like instantly. And i think first was sakyua then the sans rework was added i think so. And when bunny added deltarune forest map At that day I started attacking a sans user but nah i had a regret attacking that guy He literally didn't even try to beat me. He actually teached me how to use sans And when i got better I managed to have a chance against a sakyua user Oh yeah i also fought a developer using sans he had 3 items he used frisk I was thinking like when will the soulshatter rework will come? I was like i waited patiently for it and yet it still hasn't released We only got sneak peeks and that day bunny left to get the milk leaving the game dead when i tried the fangames it was different like super different It wasn't the same So instead i waited for the rework. And it took so long to release like so many many many many many years to release I thought SS was dead But when bunny came back with the milk he fixed the game and the bugs But the perfect block system was not good for me and i couldn't do the air combo blaster And bunny left to get the milk again Sakyua was much easier to beat now when i use old sans. I wish bunny kept working on the game. The old soulshatter was much better then the all other fan games (It is my opinion) If bunny comes back with the milk. I will be happy!!!!

It is... Qutie sad. Seeing how SS is dying... When I first encountered SS I had no idea how to even use Sans 2 telekinesis, Delta Sans was a quite huge awaited thing way back then, not THAT much P2W like Sakuya right now... It is quite sad, really. Soul Shatters was my favorite fighting game before, but now I switched to UTPR, not really playing SS. It was actually one of games that I played a LOT. By a lot I mean A WHOLE DAMN LOT. It was also one of my first games about the whole Undertale fighting thing... I want the good old times back, when Soul Shatters was fun. :(
Definitely no, you know the game is really bad if it keeps breaking after an update so better to try to revive SS rework or a different engine other than roblox. Also 1:45 I think those slashes would hit if you don't full LMB them but I feel like if you have a lower fps only 1 slash will hit
I know right, the only thing they do is just fixing bugs and glitches and sometimes they worsen the game even more and i tried playing it on mobile but sadly, it's only playable for pc users and the mobile support is very poor so it's unlikely i will be coming back to the game but i would still say it's my most favorite game even if i didn't played it for years but i still loved the game so much.
I think SoulShatters could come back with something new, beacuse Bunny has learned very much and could do a better SOULSHATTERS rework.. something huge

I've had alot of fun in soulshatters, but honestly the updates and the "nerfs/balance" changes while being not quite good, the Exploiters Era (As I call it) quite did ruin the game :I (I don't know how you could've forget about the exploiters era honestly.
I played this game when it was still on a baseplate and you didn't get to choose anything from the three characters. Don't know what happened, since I stopped playing years ago.
All good things shall come to an end. Soulshatter was the first comer and it left it's legacy, so good old SS can finally rest in peace. It had it's time and we all had fun while we could, but it's time to let our grandpa to face it's fate. Let us move on and remember those memories we once had.
Scrappy im sorry to say but its not coming back i was playing soul shatter a couple months back and he said he isnt updating this game ( i was in his server) and i have photo proof i was with him if you need it i have been playing since the i think it was not ruins but it was blue mountains and pillars i think the first map and i played it a lot i made friends in it but when it started to die i joined the others and let it rest until the devs revived it
man i remember when i was exited for the sans rework and i played the secret test game good times . At least 1 thing that was good about the downfall of soulshatters was the birth of amazing new ut roblox games
A bit of a late reply as it took a while to find the video, but to the question of if ss could be fixed, I'd personally say no. The other question, which while would probably become a issue from roblox updates is well. Did it need to be fixed? Generally some games(Typically fighting games) are listed as kusoge(shitty game) Despite this, sometimes people enjoy playing them due to some of the stupid stuff within them. This is something that I feel like the game somewhat fit into before the fixes.
i moved away from SS because i found a different game a different game, but then i learned what one of the creators of the series (glitchtale) did. at that point i just stopped playing because the community was so toxic. no mods, no one working on the game, so many script kiddies that want to be cool but just end up ruining the game for EVERYBODY. devs rarely come on and even if they did, i dont think they even have access to the game. at this point, the game is just a battery lit dumpster fire, it will never come back even if we, the community, tried to remake it, ive seen it and it always failed or never rose bigger than soulshatters
i don't cover any normal sans combos cuz most of them are boring and the same thing but with diff flavors i did come up with prob the best sans combo in terms of style and high damage tho so that's a W 🔥
It would be a lie if i didn't said i miss SS, SS actually learned me that fighting games could have fun, those time farming frisk, or when they added delta who was pretty chaotic was so cool, SS actually made me meet a true friend IRL because we were going to the same school (random luck) i guess everything come to a end but instead of looking it of nostalgy we gotta continue our way Thx soulshatter.
Hey, this is RipsOfAnomaly. You might know me as the creator of Sakuya's Moveset for SS, and as sad as it is. it is very unlikely that Bunny will ever come back to SoulShatters. The Revamp Team doesn't really do anything and I have heard from a member that he is working on another project that, i dont know about and most likely no one will until its time for either release or the project is just a friend project and concludes.
With the various SS copies, it is very fair to say that it won't keep the same charm again. Because they refuse to innovate the formula. I have been trying to create a game that would but the development process is very hard for those who are unprepared for it.

Soul shatters was on of the first games I had played on Roblox, starting once it nearly came out. I had tons of fun playing it, although I was never actually good. I still joined when my friends were on to have some fun.

pretty sad it had its downfall, i was already expecting it in the future of lack of new content since making a new character took a while, well it wouldnt get boring fast if they added 1 extra character atleast every 4 - 5 months, but i remember all the times of being annoyed by poeple who used determination undyne spear and just reset and did it again, this was one of my favorite undertale childhood games including last corridor which is still alive and well and getting reworked
I remember playing in the first hotlands map as gtc and getting a steveonnie to their second phase , it was fun and i remember being pumped and saying to myself " i can do this"

It was indeed good when i played first time I did not even know how to Select characters lmao When i watched some gameplay of soulshatters I was like "Ohh that is how i select characters" I used to main old sans That time new sans wasn't there. Well until sakyua was added Like bro the barrage it does literally eats sans stamina like instantly. And i think first was sakyua then the sans rework was added i think so. And when bunny added deltarune forest map At that day I started attacking a sans user but nah i had a regret attacking that guy He literally didn't even try to beat me. He actually teached me how to use sans And when i got better I managed to have a chance against a sakyua user Oh yeah i also fought a developer using sans he had 3 items he used frisk
I was thinking like when will the soulshatter rework will come? I was like i waited patiently for it and yet it still hasn't released We only got sneak peeks and that day bunny left to get the milk leaving the game dead when i tried the fangames it was different like super different It wasn't the same So instead i waited for the rework. And it took so long to release like so many many many many many years to release
I thought SS was dead But when bunny came back with the milk he fixed the game and the bugs But the perfect block system was not good for me and i couldn't do the air combo blaster And bunny left to get the milk again Sakyua was much easier to beat now when i use old sans. I wish bunny kept working on the game. The old soulshatter was much better then the all other fan games (It is my opinion)

When I first encountered SS I had no idea how to even use Sans 2 telekinesis, Delta Sans was a quite huge awaited thing way back then, not THAT much P2W like Sakuya right now...
It is quite sad, really. Soul Shatters was my favorite fighting game before, but now I switched to UTPR, not really playing SS.
It was actually one of games that I played a LOT. By a lot I mean A WHOLE DAMN LOT. It was also one of my first games about the whole Undertale fighting thing...
I want the good old times back, when Soul Shatters was fun. :(

Definitely no, you know the game is really bad if it keeps breaking after an update so better to try to revive SS rework or a different engine other than roblox.
Also 1:45 I think those slashes would hit if you don't full LMB them but I feel like if you have a lower fps only 1 slash will hit

Ss had one of the most potential taking that they could have added many charecters or fix bugs which would have brought old players back
I know right, the only thing they do is just fixing bugs and glitches and sometimes they worsen the game even more and i tried playing it on mobile but sadly, it's only playable for pc users and the mobile support is very poor so it's unlikely i will be coming back to the game but i would still say it's my most favorite game even if i didn't played it for years but i still loved the game so much.
To be honest both Ab And UTP is way better in my option

I've had alot of fun in soulshatters, but honestly the updates and the "nerfs/balance" changes while being not quite good, the Exploiters Era (As I call it) quite did ruin the game :I (I don't know how you could've forget about the exploiters era honestly.

All good things shall come to an end. Soulshatter was the first comer and it left it's legacy, so good old SS can finally rest in peace. It had it's time and we all had fun while we could, but it's time to let our grandpa to face it's fate. Let us move on and remember those memories we once had.

Scrappy im sorry to say but its not coming back i was playing soul shatter a couple months back and he said he isnt updating this game ( i was in his server) and i have photo proof i was with him if you need it i have been playing since the i think it was not ruins but it was blue mountains and pillars i think the first map and i played it a lot i made friends in it but when it started to die i joined the others and let it rest until the devs revived it

A bit of a late reply as it took a while to find the video, but to the question of if ss could be fixed, I'd personally say no.
The other question, which while would probably become a issue from roblox updates is well.
Did it need to be fixed?
Generally some games(Typically fighting games) are listed as kusoge(shitty game)
Despite this, sometimes people enjoy playing them due to some of the stupid stuff within them.
This is something that I feel like the game somewhat fit into before the fixes.
i moved away from SS because i found a different game a different game, but then i learned what one of the creators of the series (glitchtale) did. at that point i just stopped playing because the community was so toxic. no mods, no one working on the game, so many script kiddies that want to be cool but just end up ruining the game for EVERYBODY. devs rarely come on and even if they did, i dont think they even have access to the game. at this point, the game is just a battery lit dumpster fire, it will never come back even if we, the community, tried to remake it, ive seen it and it always failed or never rose bigger than soulshatters

Hey, this is RipsOfAnomaly. You might know me as the creator of Sakuya's Moveset for SS, and as sad as it is. it is very unlikely that Bunny will ever come back to SoulShatters. The Revamp Team doesn't really do anything and I have heard from a member that he is working on another project that, i dont know about and most likely no one will until its time for either release or the project is just a friend project and concludes.
With the various SS copies, it is very fair to say that it won't keep the same charm again. Because they refuse to innovate the formula. I have been trying to create a game that would but the development process is very hard for those who are unprepared for it.

Soul shatters was on of the first games I had played on Roblox, starting once it nearly came out. I had tons of fun playing it, although I was never actually good. I still joined when my friends were on to have some fun.

pretty sad it had its downfall, i was already expecting it in the future of lack of new content since making a new character took a while, well it wouldnt get boring fast if they added 1 extra character atleast every 4 - 5 months, but i remember all the times of being annoyed by poeple who used determination undyne spear and just reset and did it again, this was one of my favorite undertale childhood games including last corridor which is still alive and well and getting reworked
I remember playing in the first hotlands map as gtc and getting a steveonnie to their second phase , it was fun and i remember being pumped and saying to myself " i can do this"
