Musik and Pakistan are compulsory to each other... I remember when I was a kid my Sophi muslim grandfather was use to arrange musik festivals in our town and that use to be a big ocasion for us.. even Muslims in seventh century manage to spread Islam in this part only through Musik. Though I only listen western musik but sometimes I come across some master pieces from Pakistan that make me revisit my homeland potential.

When I was growing up, I thought the best musicians in the world were linkin park, later i discovered greenday, nirvana, guns n roses, metallica, Pink floyd, rolling stones... with time my taste flew from one to another. But now that I am all grown up and have a job, my love for rock music has finally led to what I call spiritual ecstasy, i.e, Sufi music. I think every rockoholic, who knows about sufi music will end up liking it. I think there's a stong connection between the two, don't know what, but there sure is.
There is no doubt it is perfectly sung by these two highly talented singers. But is there someone who would like to talk about the drummer? Oh my goodness. This drummer is absolutely fabulous and how perfectly and professionally he has synchronized with the taals starting at around 6:00 minutes. He is amazing.
Muazzam is the best vocalist in Pakistan qawal today in addition meher ali sher ali brothers. On pure talent he is alone...only worthy successor to Mubarak Ali nFAK family
The one thing brought me here is Muazzam Ali Khan's resemblance with NFAK, and i'm truely impressed by him, what a dulcet voice, surely he's contemporary NFAK
music has no boundary and it has enormous potential to unite the entire humanity...singers of my brother country pakistan are soul healers...i am so much overwhelmed by this piece of art that i hav no words to express my gratitude...may you all serve the common brotherhood with your transcendent music...may we once again become one country...amen
+Deepak Bharadwaj sir with respect forget the one country concept ...... just pray for peace between 2 nations ...... spread love and believe on humanity ........ :)

Dear Rohail Sir is no God but a super talented & wonderful creature of the One & Only God Almighty... just imagine if his creature is so Superb what his Almighty 's Grandeur would be... May He blesses us All Amin.
Coke Studio Pakistan has brought together the musical instruments and talented players from all over the world with some singers I had not heard of before. But the setup and this orchestra boosts their talent to the highest level. This is revolutionary and ingenious in the musical industry and will be instrumental bringing the world together to enjoy musical creations like these regardless of knowing the language of the song. Great creativity!
For those of us who wished to see Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan on coke studio can atleast get a taste of it from this mindblowing composition by his student. His high pitch is so similar to the Ustad.
Once I requested them to do a program for us but his manager asked for 6 lakh rupees for 5 hours performance that year i missed them but fortunately I managed them next year and i felt 6 lakh is nothing for wat they did that nite all city talked about them for months after performance. Rizwan gave me a hug as well. Good good good you made my life. It was my dream to have you guys n u did that for me.
Quite mismerising Music and voice too after Listening to nfak any one could be judgemental but for sure this is not compareson zone buddies he is awesome in his own and Nfak is A legend and will be legend no one beat him but moazzam's effort for this make me feel out of the world hats off hats off
"Goosebumps for 9 Minutes" should be the title of this song. This is the best coke studio song. I listen to it everyday and still get in a trance. Code Studio has become a part of my life. No more Pepsi for me, Ever!
Not many artists can dare to sing NFAK and not piss the fans off. These guys have been able to reproduce a masterpiece! What an amazing rendition by Rohail Hyatt.

Well Said by Rizwan , Music has no "Mazhab". I am an Indian and listen to Pakistani music than the Indian Bollywood stuff. This thing blows my up altogether. I play for a rock bank and listen to all sorts of western rock music but this stuff beats that all hands down. It require a lot of talent to perform like this. Big Fan of Nusrat Sahib. This is so nostalgic.I wish and pray India and Pakistan live like brothers in arms. We need to make music , love and not war.

I cannot stress this enough how magnetic this song is. I keep coming back to it every now and then. Bohot khoob!
Rohail Hyatt is a genius! The music composition is tooo good.
