I love our Bacon avocados! And the tree is beautiful as are Reeds. Hass is just o.k. to my taste. I've 20 trees with 17 varities. It's great what you're doing, but they look like huge trees... I'm more into GEM, Gwen, Pinkerton, Lamb, Sir Priz etc as they are smaller trees. Thx for the videos.
Really enjoyed your video! We also have a big property in Europe with about twenty trees on it all grafted by me. Hope to go to CA in the spring and collect some more bud wood to bring back. It's fantastic to do your own grafting and watch them grow and produce. Thanks beautiful property!
Hi Mollie! Thanks for your reply. We live six months in N.J. and six months back in Europe . We plan to visit Ramona San Diego in March just before we're do to come back to Europe, is there a possibility to get a couple of cuttings from that 100 year old tree you climbed? Thanks. Joe
Hi Mollie. Thank you so much for your willingness to share that variety with us. If you can hold on to it in a pot till late march, we will pick it up when we come to CA. Our seasons here in Portugal are exactly the same as CA. When we come back here in early April is the ideal time to plant. Thanks again Joe@@chefmollie
I'm having problems growing any variety of avacados out here in the high desert. I would really love to give that type a shot out here. Temp rises to °115 and the past years Temps have dropped to °25. How could I be able to get one of those from you.

You are correct. Rudolph Hass' farm was in L.A. County. And his name is pronounced "Hass;" not "haws."

I have a few I sold that property actually but I have a few cuttings that are rooted but I don’t have a way to get them to you
