My dog, Jack-doodle ... a Chiapoo ( chihuahua and poodle ) . would be best buddies with Mr. Tuck. Jack loves carrots, radishes, Pea pods, Broccoli , Curly Kale and Dinosaur kale. Yum !
He's created a consistently ideal environment for trillions of microscopic workers to, for example, break down and deliver nutrients to his plants. It's a self-organizing system that gets better every year, creating healthier plants, which are in turn more resistant to all types of stress whether heat, cold, pests, disease etc. Furthermore his schedule of when to plant as well as his utilization of microclimates means he is getting things in the ground as soon as it's possible and consistently filling in gaps.
I'm totally amazed at your garden! It is a reflection of you James! I have always gardened and put up our veggies for the year. This year we are taking it up a notch or two! You have continued to encourage and educate me, Thank you!!! My husband and I have cleared a whole piece of our property of every thorn bush and vine that had overtaken the land here, we did it all by hand and planted the start of a fruit orchard....a variety of apples, Pears and cherries. again, thanks to you! I'm only going 4 types of peppers this year as I still have quite a bit stored from last year. I can't even begin to tell you the variety of food we are going this year, everything except eggplants as I am allergic to them. We have Grape vines everywhere. a huge patch of Gooseberries that are about 35 years old now! We have blueberry bushes and one is 12 feet high! we need a ladder to pick the fruit! It's my 2nd full summer year. Our brassicas and cool weather crops are long gone. My squash and tomatoes have finished. Will replant in Sept. I'm working on my summer cow peas, okra, roselle, lots of berries, and black beans. I'm adding another 50x100 space. Should be ready by Sept, Oct. Just in time for fall tomatoes, squash, and brassicas.
