California’s climate is marked by two seasons-a wet and a dry. Except on the coast, the dryness of the air and the consequent rapidity of evaporation greatly lessen the severity of summer heat. Precipitation ranges from more than 170 inches (4,300 mm) in the northwest to traces in the southeastern desert, but moderate temperatures and rainfall prevail along the coast.

People *living* in CA should know (and appreciate) how lucky they are to live in such a nice land. I wish I could move there. Not in LA or SF, though. But, circumstances do not allow me. May be when I am not needed here in middle of nowhere - in not too distant future. Sigh.

Haha, there’s a clip of Alicante (in Spain, not California). Timestamp 15:06. You can clearly see Santa Barbara Castle (I guess that’s what caused the confusion).

Something about clearly seeing a lot people in these videos makes the experience less relaxing for some reason.
On a side note, Santa Monica Pier at 2:24:46, first thing that came to mind was Del Perro Pier from GTA 5, and then I saw SMP was the inspiration for Del Perro. The game really nailed it :D
