Soothing and reassuring to know that they played this live with aplomb. How can aplomb and this beauty be mentioned in the same sentence? Well it’s The Triffids, a band i enjoyed in ‘86 but only now am i appreciating the depth of their songs and arrangements, which had deceptively broad brushstrokes on life’s MUlti-pack canvasses. Wow what a voice, what a band they could do no wrong. Not many bands incorporate the styles the used which is a shame
