      Thanks Joe! So far so good. I just added a bunch more subscribers to the Mailerlite platform and my last newsletter was over 23% open rate. I'm testing the authentication as well and so far it looks like that works better too. I plan on doing about 2 months of testing to give it a real shot before I put out my review, but so far I'm really enjoying the platform.

    Great value in this video. One question - Would I create a separate gmail account to respond to customers feedback?

    • @JoshSchonert
      @JoshSchonert  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! I appreciate the compliment.
      I believe that if you are collecting feedback, you don't really have to have a separate account to do so. However, if you want to use an account like "support@" or "no-reply@" in order to send replies to feedback requests, and then have your normal email like "AfrikanVoice@" for your main communication, that will help you stay in a good standing with your campaigns for sending out emails and leave the other ones for the transactional stuff that you don't want people to reply to.

    • @afrikanvoice7873
      @afrikanvoice7873 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@JoshSchonert thank you! that's was helpful. It would be nice if somehow you could receive your responses in mailerlite to keep from creating email accounts on other platforms.

    • @JoshSchonert
      @JoshSchonert  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@afrikanvoice7873 You can absolutely add multiple email accounts inside of Mailerlite. That way you can send out emails using different addresses if you want.
      Granted, you won't get the customer's response to your emails inside of Mailerlite, because it's not that kind of two-way platform. It's an email marketing platform so you can only send out from there, and only the initial email, not replies.
      But, if you wanted the ability to be able to choose which email address to have in the "From" portion, then you just need to add more emails to your account in Mailerlite.

    PLEASE HELP ME JOSH 😭
    I've really grown to love mailerlite and I've been learning and practicing with it for a while following your awesome tutorials.
    I am a genuine email marketing freelancer in the real estate niche.
    I just started using mailerlite and my goal is to create different accounts for my clients (realtors) in order to help them create newsletters and manage their email marketing for them.
    But i was able to create two accounts with the same browser only.
    Both with their own different website and their own different domain emails.
    When i tried creating the third account, i got disapproved twice,
    Does this have to do with me creating multiple accounts using the same same browser or anything relating to using the same IP address?
    Because i use different details relating to their different businesses to do so.
    I have never used the same details for two accounts because they are in different business although in the same exact niche.
    Does mailerlite allow for niche specific agencies to create multiple endless accounts to manage email marketing for clients IN THE SAME NICHE without disapproving the accounts creation???
    Ive contacted them and they said j didn't pass the test.
    Also what's the best practice I can follow to use mailerlite to achieve this purpose because i kept getting dissapproved.

    Josh, thanks for sharing. Still confused with the difference between "segments" and "groups" in MailerLite. Can you please explain? And where are the "lists" in MailerLite then?

    • @JoshSchonert
      @JoshSchonert  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's a great question, Jacobo!
      So, in Mailerlite, the "lists" are actually the "Groups". When you set up Groups in Mailerlite, that's how you differentiate the different subscribers.
      Segments are where you have specific criteria. For example, I have a segment where people are added to it if they haven't opened emails in 60 days or more. That way I can target that segment for re-engagement campaigns.

    • @MrGheller
      @MrGheller ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@JoshSchonert Very clear Josh. Thank you. It's clear to me that MailerLite is using the wrong taxonomy. They should listen to customers and change the name of "groups" to "lists" and of "segments" to "criteria" and make things easier for us.

    • @JoshSchonert
      @JoshSchonert  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MrGheller I agree with changing from "Groups" to "Lists" as that's fairly common for most email marketing platforms to populate groups of subscribers as lists.
      But, "segments" is also a very common naming convention used in email marketing platforms, more common than "Criteria" in my opinion. You can look at pretty much any marketing platform out there and they will use "Segments" as their terminology for filtering subscribers based on specific criteria.
