As I was a dancer not so many years my teacher would give me & my partner a big variation of basic steps where unlike now we never stopped for the entire music in the competition. Today the new dancers have lost the technique of basic steps & movements they just stop & go & pose it is lacking a lot, if my teacher was to judge this he would be so disappointed as he had published books for all ballroom dancing for technique & steps this looks like a made-up show, I was lucky to find this teacher as I got to know him I found out he went all around the world when he was invited to go there to teach a lot of Professionals.
This is not lost of technique, this is improvement these guys are highly qualified dancers and athletes they’re in the top 10 of Word Dance Sport Federation, the techniques and body control that they’ve shown on this video is amazing, the foot work, the steps, the body balance, I’ve already shared the floor with them in Bologna - Italy and that is a unique feeling. There’s nothing wrong with your teacher’s basic steps and figures but they’re just that BASCI this is professional performance and yet they have the basic principles in the choreography if you watch carefully, it’s evolution nothing more.
Esto es evolución, si ves las competencias de hace 10 años, no son las mismas que las de ahora, incluso competencias del 2000 o 1990 no son las mismas, incluso cuando pase unos 10 años, no será lo mismo, todo cambia y evoluciona, para cada época.
Personally, I enjoy watching dancers DANCE. Period. I agree, these folks are more interested in strutting, facial expressions, and posing. Not to take away from the fit bodies, beautiful clothes and awesome hairstyles. But dancing an 8-count and positing for 32-counts is not dancing.
Андрей даёт очень сильный и эмоционально красивый танец ❤❤❤
Браво!
