    Thank you for the step-by-step instruction regarding setting the sign-on accounts about 45 seconds in. I was trying to make this work for a week, nothing on the internet that I could find worked, and you solved it for me with a minute.

    only a few of comments respect this video, you need to open on firewall port 5022 and 1433 in both nodes, else it wont work the AG, also you need to set in SQL Service an acoount from domain

    hi, thank you, it was really helpful. can try Basic Always On availability with MS SQL Failover Cluster
    So in this case you wud have 3 servers,2 VMS on the failover cluster, running Basic Always On availability - passing data to 3rd VM running its own instance

    Hi, thanks for this video. I have a question - What is the difference between the Always-On High Availability and Mirroring and Replication?

    Great quick video, but I prefer you show and resolve critical on node 2 from 7:41. Thanks

      @Avis4134 ปีที่แล้ว

      critical is only when failover under progress..

    The Nodes should be part of Windows Cluster for HAG setup. Is that required?
    How about using Listener IP as Node IP, instead of DHCP setting?

    • @KindsonTheTechPro
      @KindsonTheTechPro  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes. HA should be based of Windows Cluster. It is required. The Listener points the the cluster and not to individual nodes.

    • @rohit-hj1xe
      @rohit-hj1xe 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes we can for that Right click on Always on group which you created and just simply add another databases but as per Microsoft standards we can add max 10 db per AG.

      The focus here is 'Always-On'. I made other videos and tutorials on Sever Admin, SQL Cluster setup etc. See the link provided in the video description.
