I mean, 10$ for something that you use everyday isn't that bad imo. Especially if you're also paying for streaming services. Just skip a Starbucks coffee or something and you almost got that 10$. First 6 months is also free. You can try it out, see if it truly makes a huge difference compared to the free version, and if not, cancel before 6 months are over.
I bought this a couple weeks ago. Love it! The only negatives for me have been that it doesn’t track floors climbed, and the resting heart rate is tracking about 10-15 beats higher than my Apple Watch.
I thought mine stopped but realised it just needed an update. I'm not saying it's always the case, but I didn't even realise why mine stopped tracking and counting steps properly. The watch doesn't tell you the app tells you to update the watch
One of the first fitness bands that actually look classy. The only thing that I don't understand design-wise are the visibly too thick bezels. Could you define which data is behind the paywall and what data is free?
Mostly, add-ons that help you better understand your body and train, but nothing detrimental. Here are the specifics, with Fitbit Premium you get: workouts, meditation sessions, recipes, challenges, advanced sleep tracking, daily readiness scores and wellness reports. You still get activity tracking, heart rate tracking and others, basic metrics and sleep/stress score without premium. But for the sleep/stress scores, you won't get the breakdown and details.
@@waldamyspot on. I rocked the free version for 3 weeks before activating the subscription, and for the most part it just summarizes the data it gives you on the free version.
Its more like if you want to have access to a normal amount of data that would typically be provided by a smartwatch then its free but if you want access to an unwieldy amount of data and analysis then you pay.
The best thing it does is get you to constantly think about moving. I was only walking about 3000 steps a day. Now I walk 11000 a day. I don't even look at the calories it says it counts.
I have a question about gps, does it allow for me to navigate through city? I live in NY and looking for a gadget with a map on a phone free days so I don’t get lost
I loved my smaller fit bit I had, it lasted over 2 year until I started using it on water a ton and it seems I took it into too deep of today and it's dead now. But it had very accurate data, and the sleek design felt really nice to me, I feel like the busier ones would be annoying
I had the fitbit charge 5 for over 2 years and I was great. Unfortunately I think I used it in water too much and ruined it. But it was great for fitness and through all the testing I did the numbers seemed very accurate
Got it yesterday and worn it for one workout. My initial complaints are that the steps are definitely over exaggerated and the calories burned are an estimate of total burned... Like just by being alive. I don't find that particularly useful. I guess I'm just going to have to assume that steps and calories are way under what they say.
@randygyan2288 actually about 6 weeks in, the screen went out and it was all zigzag patterns. I returned it and got a Garmin Venu3, which arguably has worse tech features but is a better fitness tracker and looks good.
But.... its worse than the Mi Band 8 Pro? Please do the Zeblaze Thor Ultra... or something else FULL ANDROID? Also curious how these compare to Redmi Watch 4.
That paywall means a no for me fam. Still rocking my Vivoactive 3 from Garmin - still gives 4 days of battery with workouts and longer if I don't track them! Even with some nicer features, it'd take alot better than this for me to not stick with Garmin. Thanks for the quick review!
I have one. Heart rate and calories are inconsistent and I question accuracy. My GPS barely ever works at all in any mode (I usually end up just tracking GPS on my phone. The edit exercises doesn't save on the app. So basically pretty meh. Does have good battery life. Does look good (my opinion) the Google pay is cool.
Not sure about the accuracy. It’s not bad, but it’s not the best either. Apple Watch and some other devices more accurate. But in terms of value, the Fitbit is great.
Paywall is not that huge for me since we get the most data we want daily (fitness tracking and basic sleep tracking) and it's much cheaper than other brands that way. Only if it had Spotify!!!!
Samsung fit 3 is 50 bucks and does all that with no oay wall I don't think ecg My miband 7 and 6 allows you to change music controls while in workout mode and that to ne is a must
It's not accurate at all. Especially when running and walking. The calorie burn and heart rate are just stupid. The best thing about it is it's small size.
Did not like the Fitbit charge 6 watch strap. It is to hard for people who are old and have problems with their hands or only has one arm. Like the strap on charge 2. Easier to use.
Not onboard GPS though. And no Fitbit that I have tried with it (Versa 4 and Sense 2) could get or keep a GPS signal. I've recently got a Garmin Venu 3S, love it!!!
For me, Xiaomi does at least as good a job and, in some cases, better... all, for less than a THIRD of the price and longer battery life. Probably more watch faces, as well. As for paywalls, FB can 💋 my a$$. I guess the Google stuff is advantageous for some, but I use Samsung wallet, and don't need G maps on my watch. Actually, my Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro has GPS, and a much bigger/better screen.
Fitbit charge 6 is heads and shoulders above xiaomi in terms of sensors accuracy, it is significantly more accurate hence why worth it. you should check quantified scientist channel reviews on both smartbands for a better insight.
Subscription kills it for me.
It’s only $10. It’s still cheaper than whoop
You don't need a subscription for 99% of features. I think it's just for some weird meditation stuff
Ye like stress and shit

I notice apple watch tracks way lower than any other watch..
@@rokenrol17I would trust the Apple Watch since tests show their amazing heart rate accuracy
Every Fitbit I've had has died a week after the warranty ends and customer support is no help. I've switched to the pixel watch 2 and it's been great.
I had two fitbit watches fail, both were replaced by fitbit with used units. Not a good sign.
Life expectancy isnt great

I love the fit bit charge 6. It’s so fun and motivates me to keep stepping and also go to the gym, it’s worth the healthy lifestyle it promotes.
Still - love the garmin vivosmart 5 which gives excellent data without paywall
no gps.
Heart rate is much less accurate
@@cyberfunk3793my Fitbit inspire 3 uses connected GPS on the phone & the results are pretty accurate for brisk walking.
Bought it. HR sensor seems much improved from previous fitbits.

Nice
The only thing that is lacks is counting floors , other than that it's perfect . Had it since launch.
Fall detection? That's a must for ANY wearable.
No it’s not 🤣😭
Not everyone is a crippled that falls all the time.
Isn’t the GPS poor? Same issue from the version 5. Antenna is on the side and gets very poor signal.
For the charge 4 you can controll spotify instead of youtube music actully. But you need spotify premium for that.

What would you recommend for someone who doesn't want smart watch features like maps, gpay but looking for purely fitness features?
Fitbit Inspire 3. Many people talk about subscriptions and how it sucks. Just don’t get it! The basic version is more than enough
I had the fitbit charge 5 for over 2 years and I was great. Unfortunately I think I used it in water too much and ruined it. But it was great for fitness and through all the testing I did the numbers seemed very accurate
Inspire 3 or a cheap garmen
My biggest complaint is how inaccurate step counting is on fitbits. Every slight movement is a step on those things.
I live my charge 5. Mainly use it for time, step tracking. And the timer.
Old Fitbit watches crumbles after a year of use. Did they address this issue?
I have a Charge 4 and it’s basically the same but with only 6 workouts and No YT Music.
but ur charge 4 has spotify connectivity which is so much better than yt music
My fitbit screen goes black with spotted red dots around the numbers after 30 seconds. Is there a way to fix this besides Turning off always on.

GPS is a bit wonky, but other than that. Its really good
ECG graph?
How do you get google maps on it
For me its the Samsung Fit 3. Its affordable and accurate
Notifications are real bad on this? Can someone confirm?
What sold me was you didn’t need a data plan like Samsung or some Apple model smart watches.
I need to control spotifyyyy
