I've done this a few times so hears the deal with the bumps under the lid once you got your hole through use a 1 inch or 3/4 holesaw from underneath to remove the excess metal.then put a fender washer on bolt with some blue lock tight after install clean edges with a rat tail file then primer and paint the hole so it Don't rust .
@@gridengine yea color matched would look better. Though the part I don’t like is where it bolts up to the car. And the underside of the trunk. Might try to mold in the lip style so it’s flush. Would be a cool project
I don’t remember. I believe I just started with a small drill bit, and slowly went up in sizes until the bolt would fit through. If you start with a big size and it’s too big, you can’t add material back.
that spoiler truly compliments the car.
Right? 😂😂 we were honestly surprised!

Sweet! Thanks for the tip!
Make sure to lock tight the screws they will all come lose on the wing after driving for some time
Bet. We’ll get right on that. Thanks g
Ngl I'm basically just doing the same thing with my civic cuz of y'all lol
Let’s goooo 💪💪😂
@@gridengine also just realized after watching that I have the exact same crack in my windshield 💀
It’s BAD. 🤮
Hmmm I was thinking of doing this but idk if I like the final look of it anymore lol. Might just do a lip like the hybrid
Yeah it’s not for everyone. It also would look better if you got it paint matched

Yeah the bolting in process is shitty… as you can see in this video 😂
Looks good Vato!
Thanks man!
Would this spoiler fit the same year but as a 2 door?
Double check, but pretty sure that the eBay listing said it fit the coupe as well.
There's a guy that has the same exact build as you
I used to have this car lowered some nice rims with lip and grill
They are such fun cars to mod!
Dude. Some 16 year old kid would SO buy this car. You gotta sell it. Auction it off in a high school parking lot.
That’s what we are hoping after we are done with it 😬😬
You think this is the same as the 06 sedan one? The holes look the same
Probably. This wing fits most civics. Even new ones
😂😂 I love these openings.
We gotta grab y’all’s attention 💪💪😂
THIS HAS TO BE THE BEST INTRO EVER! STILL DONT KNOW HOW YOU COULD FLOAT LIKE THAT 😂😂😂
Thanks man! 😂😂 it’s all just movie magic 🪄🦄
You kinda broke physics there for a moment
Yeah. Physics isn’t really our thing here. We could take ‘em or leave ‘em. 💀
What size of bluts are they?
Not sure what a blut is 🤔
Love you the gba intro
Anything 4 U king 🤴 🤤
What size drill bit did you use

Where you get the rims?

Welcome to treasure island! We’re glad to have you aboard! 💪💪😂
I wish you lived in my hood so we can work on our honda together.
Honestly same here. Nothing beats a good local car community.
@@gridengine I never experienced it. But i can just imagine pulling up to a meet and all us 7th gen guys parked up looking all swaggy.
That’s the DREAM for sure 🤌🤌
wtf is that intro
The best intro to a car video that you’ve ever seen 😘
