Skiing in the Swiss Alps: Grindelwald (Jungfrau Region)

- On the 15th of April 2021 my husband and I drove to Grindelwald, a small village in Swiss region Berner Oberland to catch one of the last days at the ski slopes. The conditions were great. Despite so late in the season there were still more than enough snow, the sun was out and we had lots of fun swishing down the slopes of Kleine Scheidegg ski area.

Looks like you two took advantage of that and even did the difficult runs, you're a couple of pros! Mind blowing views on the mountain, just awesome and majestic. Heheh, I guess you know me well. 😄 Honestly, I didn't think we would made it to the slopes this season, but we did. The things finally worked for us and I'm super happy they did. [insert dancing gif]. It was perfect day and this was definitely perfect place to ski. I'm glad you enjoyed watching our adventure. Thanks. 🤗

Hehe, and beware this was at the end of the season. In the high season, there is even more. :) You're right, Grindelwald is amazing place to ski. It is one of my favourite ski areas. The scenery and the slopes are amazing, but the infrastructure could be better. What's your favourite place to ski?

Oh yeah, the weather was perfect for the most of the day. Sunny, but cold. ☀️ You’re right Eiger lift is fancy, but I love it. It is comfy and takes you to the top in only 15 minutes. 😁

Those are numbers of the ski pistes we skied and different colors marks difficulty of the slope. Blue is easy, red Intermediate and black expert/difficult . I added them for those who ski would see how particular slopes look like.

True. After we had to cancel skiing for way too many times, I was sure we won't ski this year, but luckily this time everything worked out and we had a great day on skis. Yes, there was plenty of snow down in the lowlands and even more up in the mountains. Oh, I guess, we got snow meant for your side of the world too then, heheh. :)
