On Rep the band is high above on the huge set piece. During Eras they are toward the back and sides of the huge screen. They are always there and many have been with her forever.

Taylor has been described as a songwriting savant and I think it's an accurate description. She is an utter song writing genius especially lyrically. And to come up with this and the stage production at her age back then??? She was born with something you can't teach and that is talent. You can teach someone to maximize that talent but you can't teach IT. And Taylor has whatever IT is in spades.....
I was so lucky to have this and exile as my suprise song in Edinburgh. You could tell there was a lot of newer fans. But the OGs knew it was a moment. I was lucky enough to go see the speak now world tour back in 2011 when i was 16. This tour holds such a special place in my heart, especially this, enchanted and long live. ❤️

This was in response to so many people saying that she didn't write her own songs. Stupid people! lol She's always had a live band. This song is definitely underrated but recently I've seen a lot of love for it, at least by the fandom. I don't who was hating on it but that's not most Swifties! This is one of my favourites. I kinda rediscovered it a few years ago and had never seen this performance, which I absolutely LOVE because Taylor is so extra and it's so musical theatre-esque (most of the show is). I didn't see this concert in full until quite recently (I had watched most of the performances though) and as much as I love her later tours, there is something so wholesome, cute and personal about this show. I do think that Taylor seems a lot more relaxed now and is not trying to live up to this 'good country girl image'. She had a lot more say than most mainstream artists, especially at that age, but she was still under her old record label which was run by Scott Borchetta (who sold her masters to Scooter Braun). Speak Now was Taylor's third full album and she wrote it all 100% by herself as a response to people saying she didn't write her own songs. Rep Tour is actually beloved by the fandom so it's funny Evan said that lol. And yes, she still has her band who have been with her since she started. They are even on stage during Eras Tour, they're just not right next to her for most of it.

I’ve been to every TS tour she’s brought to Australia and my most distinctive memory of any performance is Haunted from her Speak Now concert, I sat right by one of the massive bells and I was captivated the entire time. I reckon I spent more time watching the person dangling from the bell than I did Taylor 😂
I love this song. I especially love this live performance. They focused on the band at the beginning of that because Taylor was doing a wardrobe change. She had just finished a set of like 3 songs and went to change for the next set so that was a transition filler. There are moments where they show her band and zoom in on them. 2 of the guys in her band have been with her from the beginning of her career and another since her first tour, Fearless. Speak Now has a lot of great live performances. Reputation Live is amazing and her most fun and sassy performances.
The Speak Now tour was Taylor in her theater kid era. And yes, her band is still with her. In fact, several have been with her since her 1st or 2nd tour and are considered family by Taylor.
