The voice, the looks, the charisma etc... he "strummed" or whatever you want to call it. I'm not dismissing it, but it's a long connect the dots to calling Elvis a "guitarist" That's why he never really "played" it Especially in later concerts, came out, around his neck, and picked it a bit whilst singing CC Rider. Then off it came. One reason if he kept wearing it, he couldn't move around, "be" Elvis. Yes, he could "play" the guitar, piano.
