You’re spot on with Alpine Balsam. It literally smells like you’re outside at a ski resort. I wish it had more pine but it’s still amazing. Hot throw for me is pretty good.
I ordered several of these as well. Just made testers for Nordic Night and Moroccan Cashmere so far.. I also picked up Fallen Leaves..can't wait to see how they turn out. Thanks for giving us a glimpse Wade!!
Oud does come from wood but it isn't wood itself or just another word for a wood scent. Real oud as a fragrance is derived from agar trees. The heartwood of the trees can become infected with a certain type of mold, when they do it triggers the production of resin. Oud oil is then extracted from that resin by melting or distillation. Unsurprisingly, real oud is incredibly expensive though so what you usually get in mass market fragrance oil is a synthetic meant to mimic the real thing.

I ordered like 50 1oz bottles of 'best of scents' from a candle supply shop and am not very impressed with most of them. How do you determine what scents to sell if you don't actually like any of them? You mention you should have 1 woodys, one gourmand, 1 musky etc but what if you only like fruity and goumand smells? How do you pick from categories you just don't like? Thanks in advance. Looking forward to your next video. Alison
Not sure what you mean, I'm sorry. Unfortunately if there is an issue I can't go back and fix it now. It is what It is. I haven't heard this on this video before though. This is a first. I do have some older videos that were recorded on a backup single channel mic thst doesn't work great with dual headphones. But not sure of an issue on this is one. Sorry about that. Unfortunately, as I mentioned though,.... I can't fix what has already been recorded, edited, and published. :/
I've liked most of your other videos in the past, but this one is a huge miss for me. Seems like your promoting these fragrances more than an honest review. These fragrances were a huge miss for me and most other people I've spoken too and shared them with. Big disappointment after how good most of the new spring/summer fragrances were in the release earlier this year from CS. Maybe it is your real opinion, but just seems way off compared my personal experience with them and other I have shared them with and talked to.
Sorry to hear that Alex. Definitely not promoting them... I get nothing from doing so. No kickback or anything like that. This was my honest opinion out of the bottle. But... I mentioned in the video...these are FIRST Impressions. I haven't tested these in wax yet. I loved the majority of these out of the bottle. But that is the thing about fragrance reviews.... they are very subjective obviously. But I have actually had the opposite feedback when talking with others. Nearly everyone I have spoken with loved them. Either way sorry if you think it was a miss. These aren't meant to promote.. they are reviews. I am not an affiliate or anything of candle science. Even if I was, they would be honest reviews. But I get nothing out of providing my feedback, positive or negative. And I always honest about fragrances that I don't like. Anyway, I just wanted to reassure you that...while you don't agree with these ones... they were definitely my initial opinions. You never have to worry about me leaving false opinions or intentionally missing anyone. Won't happen. ;)

I knew my opinions would differ from some others and didn't want anything to take my opinion as fact when, in reality, fragrance oils are more personal preference ya know. But I gave in a while back after constant requests. But I still know there will be times when people agree with me and times when they don't. I try to focus more on describing the notes than anything but of course can't refrain from also mentioning what I like or think is good verses what I dislike. Either way, as I mentioned in the first comment.... I certainly wasn't trying to sell them and get no kickback from them for doing so. I just happened to like them. Lol. Wife helped me too. She liked all but the baklava one (which was basically the same as me.... and we never agree, ha!) Thanks again for being here Alex!
The ginger and spice probaly smells like ginger mints. I didn’t even have to smell it to know exactly what that smelled like. It was my grandmas favorites!❤️
