Hi Flogs, I went for a ride on Saturday from Geelong inland to Lavers Hill and bottomed out my suspension at least six times after hitting potholes. I also noticed that the ride was interrupted very frequently by reduced speed limits because of road works, only to find that there were no road works only very poor road conditions. Getting up Sunday morning my back was that sore I could hardly walk and now I’ve had to go a get my back straighten out. Great show guys, keep up the great work.
Bloody great show Whitey & Paul, what a great cause to come up with Bourkey footy boots for kids, & congrats on a great ride you Legend 👍thanks Chop for the bike show , cheers from flog to another, keep the knee in the breeze
Great show guys, the interview with the Indian was great I have recently just completed the half lap from Adelaide to Katherine broome and Perth back to Adelaide the ride was great and exactly as he said it’s just so mesmerizing
Great video/interview! I amnsubbed to Paul's channel and cant wait for more adventures. Big fannof the Australian biker community. Seemsnto be filled with some good people, and funny! Thanks for all your content! Stay safe!!
Bendigo is apparently the place for suburb donuts, but it’s hit and miss whether they are set up. Guess we will have to keep going back and put a tracker on their van. 😂
Talking about potholes. Gippslands solution is a change in speed limit to 40kph. In the middle of nowhere rather than fix the death traps they change all the speed zones. It’s dangerous and a joke. Keep fighting the fight gents. 👍
Here is my 2 cents worth on Victorian potholes and the consequences that are happening. I have been riding the roads for 45 years, and there has always been shit road conditions. I have not had a major incident in that time, as I ride to the conditions (an example of what not to do is like the "Indian Crusader" riding at night in the rain with abundant wildlife and surprise, surprise - a kangaroo in the middle of the road). You flogs state that there is no money to fix Victoria's roads, and in the next sentence complain about the new probate cost. FFS, you can't have it both ways - where do you think the money comes from to fix our roads and infrastructure? It is Federal and State taxes plus Council rates for the local roads. But there is a big whinge every time a tax or rate rise occurs. How about you start lobbying for the Trucking companies to reduce the fucken road-train size and weight AND pay their share of roads levy AND stop the fucken diesel offset tax break - then we might have some cash to fix the fucken damage they cause on OUR roads. Oh yeah, I had to laugh at Col - Shovel heads are worth $30K lol. There was a Shovel for sale at Shovelfest for $18K :) His 1982 AMF Shovelhead was nice though.....
@@dynamikOne I think you better do a bit of research on budget funding for road repairs, budget over runs by billions of dollars, paying for commonwealth games that we don’t have, complete mismanagement of our taxes, if you’re happy donating more of your hard earned for these clowns to squander then keep making excuses for them, to say that the roads are the same now as they have been in the past 45 years seems a bit of a stretch when literally every person you speak to is complaining about them, we have more than enough money to cover for road repairs but these clowns running the state couldn’t manage a tuck shop budget and that is why we’re are in the mess we’re in
@@hogscogsandtwoaussieflogs Haha, sure, lets compare the old two lane goat track of the Hume Highway to the duel carriage way now, or the old two lane great western highway to the duel carriage way today, yep sure is worse now....Also, I am not making excuses for Government squander of our money, but we obviously do not have enough money for everything. Why don't you rant at the cause of the road condition (heavy vehicles and the weather)
@@dynamikOne we have no money because they blew it, that’s their job mate, to maintain the roads and infrastructure, they tax us and we entrust them to spend it to make the community safe, they aren’t tasked to maintain one road, it’s all the roads, hospitals, police, ambulance, schools etc, not long ago we were still driving on dirt roads, our money paid to build the roads, since then the population has grown, therefore more taxes are being collected so as we have enough money to maintain and improve those roads but if they keep blowing the money as they are at the moment ie, bringing out a rapper from the US that nobody has heard of at a cost of 1 million dollars to perform when on the other hand cut funding for cancer research, you start to wonder where their heads at and what their priorities are
Really enjoyed the interview with the Indian Crusader...stumbled across his trip early on and what a ripper it turned out to be 👍
