In the last 12 months, I’ve tested many electric bikes, including the Fiido D2s and the M1.. which were both great! So when I saw Fiido’s latest E-bike being launched on Indiegogo, way back in June 2020, I couldn’t help myself to get my hands-on one. It’s not only the designed that I’m attracted to, there are a few specs really worth mentioning. Namely the 40 to 50 kilometer range in the full electric mode. Other than that, a 250w motor, the 18 kilogram weight, Shimano gears, 36V 11.6 Ah battery and the possibility to fold the bike.

D4s! You can get it around 560 euro's right now. The advantage over the D11 is that it has an unlockable speed and that it is cheaper. D11 has a removable battery with 10% bigger range, but is also more expensive. The battery of the D11 is more easily stolen also.

Hee Martijn, leuke review! Ik wilde de fiets halen en ermee de weg op in Nederland, weet je of dit mag? Ik dacht dat je er een kenteken (blauw) bij moest aanvragen, is dit lastig?

@@janbrandonjr daar heb je gelijk in maar zolang er trappers op zitten en je er geen 50kmh mee gaat rijden kraait er geen haan naar 🤷🏻♂️

Can I drag this bike behind me then it's in folded position? I don't want to carry the bike in the subway, but rather drag it behind me. Or push it in front of me using the folded wheels.
At 3:59, the seatpost/battery pack hangs down lower than the chain ring! For shorter riders, navigating tall speed bumps will become an adventure that offers the possibility of fires and explosions.
Try how to lock it in the city!
The big problem is battery lock.. Is expensive part..why It does not have a lock

Don't buy it! I did and the battery splits open as they sold a bunch of defective stock, their admission. They admit fault and say they will replace it but never actually do, its just months and months of 'yes we will' and they never do.
Fiido's pedal assist is the worst I've ever seen! It's not pedal assist actually, it just detects that you are pedaling (after quite some time actually because it's very slow) and it just gives full power!! no matter what assist gear/mode you 're on.. assist gears/modes only define different cut-off speeds for the motor so it stops when you reach that speed.. just awful!
So it's because you did not see other bikes, do not say nonsense
