DFDS Ferries Back - King Seaways On The Tyne - 16 July 2020

A welcome sign that some things may be getting back to normal. We have not seen the ferries from the Continent on the Tyne for several months now while we have all been in lockdown. However, on 16-July-2020 the DFDS ferry King Seaways came back. It was followed by its sister ship, Princess Seaways, on 17-July-2020. Called the Newcastle to Amsterdam route, in reality it goes between North Shields and IJmuiden. Many of us have had a happy time going across to Amsterdam for a few days or even just going one night to visit / party during the day and then come back the next night (Often partying all night long both going and coming back). Welcome back DFDS.
