Whitecat can def do this but it is kinda shown he has no reason of doing it again any time soon, shige can do it as well as shown here as he just shitmissed a lot in one stream and had no problem for the remainder of the map. His grip is just shit. Both could do it. Hell, there's a good few people within the top 100 in general that could do it, but nobody wants to really attempt it. Both are good, just not really a priority for people right now. In short- people don't care.

Capable of? Ofc Shige as you can see. But the truth is none of them will do it soon cause literally both of them are quite inconsistent on the map at the moment. I'd wait for a few months though, they just need to take a bit more time to adjust their mindset completely to the thought of making a HR pp record (though Shige will still one miss, thanks top left)
The only other player I could think of would be vaxei as I believe he choked a 1.2k on a 220bpm map with hard rock. Unfortunately many top players don't really value consistency as a skill and just opt for dt since that's the easiest. I completely agree that we need WAY more nomod and hard rock 1k's.
