Ejī Bharam ne vāro to sīnha shūdh hove
Ajā kero bhāv so dilsūn khove

Āp panāmā khoyo hāthe pīv
Ochinto āvī ne kare re gīrabh

Ejī Murshid kāmilku sang kariye
Āve avīdhiyā sab jāe visariye
Tab to sūje dilki gāli

Āpno āp moman pichhāno
Pīr Shams kahe sohī tame pālo

Translation
O brother! The lion has forgotten its self and remained as a goat in the company of the goats. In such illusion, it has forgotten its reality. Leave all illusions and say “Ali Ali”. Ali is and Ali will be. Keep such thought in your heart. Leave all illusions and say “Ali Ali”.
O brother! Eliminate such illusions so that the lion realize its origin and the thought of being a goat is removed from its heart. It will never fall in such illusion again. Leave all illusions and say “Ali Ali”.
O brother! All have fallen into ignorance, and in egotism have lost their beloved. All of sudden the angel of death will catch them. Leave all illusions and say “Ali Ali”.
O brother! Remain in the company of the true master so that the ignorance is removed. Then you will see the reality of the heart. Leave all illusions and say “Ali Ali”.
O brother! Remove the illusion so that you recognize your Lord and will realize yourself also. Follow whatever Pir Shams (r.a.) says. Leave all illusions and say “Ali Ali”.
