I posted a clip from one of my videos to reddit (30 sec cap) and it went viral but I saw zero growth on my TH-cam. How could I have capitalized off the trending wave?

They can be (sometimes) unusually hostile and rude (for no reason) on Reddit though also....you have to go on there dressed in steel plated armour (this is just the internet in general though). I love Reddit too though...and youtube...despite all the problems. Reddit has helped me a ton, you really cannot move forward without it.

I'm trying to watch your video and understand what it is your trying to say with very little success. But just to make sure I'm hearing you right - the best way to expand your audience on TH-cam using Reddit is NOT to try and promote yourself on Reddit? Have a five year strategy to simply spend a lot of time making suggestions and trying to help others and then your 'good Karma' results in people liking you so they promote you?

I did that, 5.7k karma, still every subreddit for youtube Promo sucks about 500k members and everyone gets 2 views out of a post
