ITALY - ROME & LAZIO - NOVEMBER 2020 - Overland Campervan - Let's get otter here - Episode 28

In this episode we explore the capital region of Lazio in Italy in mid-November 2020. First we spend a few quiet days by the sea in Civitavecchia and then make our way to Rome.
Almost all tourist attractions are closed due to Corona (with the exception of the churches), but that doesn't bother us much, because Rome has so much to offer. In bright sunshine we explore the city, admire St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican and - at least from the outside - the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Pantheon and many of the other fascinating buildings of Rome.
After this city trip, we drive back to the sea - this time southeast of Rome near Latina, which welcomes us with miles of beautiful sandy beaches.
