Recipe to make KFC Fried Chicken:
KFC 프라이드 치킨을 만드는 레시피 :
- Chicken thigh 500g
(닭다리 500g)
- Eggs 1
(계란 1)
- Wheat flour 1cup
(밀가루 1 컵)
- Cornstarch 1 / 2cup
(옥수수 전분 1/2 컵)
- Baking powder 1 Tsp
(베이킹 파우더 1 Tsp)
- Salt 1 Tsp
(소금 1 Tsp)
- Garlic powder 2Tsp
(마늘 가루 2Tsp)
- Pepper 1 ton
(후추 1 톤)
- Chili powder 1 Tsp
(칠리 파우더 1 작은 술)
- Sugar 1/2 Tsp
(설탕 1/2 Tsp)
- General water 1/2 Tsp
(일반 물 1/2 Tsp)
- 100ml water
(물 100ml)

I worked at KFC. I was a cook. We used to wash the chicken in water, drain excess water from chicken. Then we’d add the chicken to plastic boxes & add these pre mixed packets! The coating always came pre mixed. KFC don’t use batter before frying. They just used water, drain off water, add to box with pre mixed packets! Shake vigorously until chicken was coated. Then we’d fry in sealed compression fryers. Most important tip !!!! Always leave your fresh cooked chicken to REST! Top tip’ don’t ever eat your chicken piping hot ! Bad idea !
