Good review overall. You cannot go wrong with a TM gas pistol but for the price.

Great Video im looking to get one myself after testing it but got FNX TM but now Im going back to the fold. I'd like to ask is the lower frame of the DOR hicapa can fit a regular slide of TM 5.1 Hicapa? cheers thanks in advance

Its something I really haven't tried myself being happy with my dor, but one would say yes. The lower is just the standard 5.1 frame its the internals of the slide they worked on. The hop unit and the blowback especially as you have the rmr cutout in the slide to compensate for so they changed the shap of the piston. That would mean the internals are limited to the dor slide for now until tm make another.

I wonder is the nozzle compatible with 5.1?

Hi there, the D.O.R. uses a different nozzle due to the optic cut.

@@MiddleAgeGameruk Ah I see, it's a shame it's so difficult finding dor parts, if there were more aftermarket it would be perfect...

what type of optics are you using sir?...thanks

For the d.o.r I'm using the tm rmr at the moment. There are 3rd party mout plates out there for other optics.

Green gas gives you good dry kick, but also will brake your slide in a few months! No doubt!
Never use green gaz with TM, only low pressure (110 to 115psi).
Green gas eventually under 10 degrees.

Thanks for the comment and advice my friend, for sure some tm pistols are a no go for green gas, this is dependent on location geographical, and temperature. The tm pistols I have have all ran fine on green gas for quite some time, they are all recent ones as in the last 5 years. The main issue with green gas is the mags, some just hate it and leak, like the m&p9l or m92 mags.

@@MiddleAgeGameruk only issue I occured with my hicapa mags were to retight the bottom screw over and over again so the seal between bottom part and magazine body doesnt get leaky.

Green gas is fine but use with commonsense. I have run TM ABS pistols all year round in the UK with no problems.
The plastic slides of early 5.1 pistols could break but this was mainly due to slidelock wear being excessive over time via the forceful 'throw' of the slide.

Sorry but all my airsoft replicas are not for sale, the TM D.O.R is at a really good price at the moment and a definite recommended purchase if you can. Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
