in the intro loop layered with the guitar i can also hear a handpan, not another string instrument, either that or the guitar is played with tap harmonics, it sounds really percusive and "floaty", i could be wrong but it seems that way
now i realize something when you thought its gon be build up into explosion at minute one, this song really have the same pacing like the gameplay does, something will goes wrong when you rushing with the cards you play, so gotta breath in and build it up untill its necessary to explode. Most game favor speed and rush, but this one a bit strategic
I feel you on the beginning part of the song. I was expecting an intense “drop” per say and was definitely surprised the calmness. Wasn’t disappointed when it came in towards the end. Later I found out that this is actually a cover. So I think Riot’s music team is pretty good at covers.
