@@thinzki44 uh no, aside from the big difference between Indo and Indio, the reason is the Spaniards were actually looking for India, accdg. to Marco Polo is the land of Spice. And Indio became a derogatory term used by the Spanish who looked down on brown skinned Filipinos.

Quiapo is the best place to get Pinoy street food! Just be careful of pickpockets! :)
I was gonna say disame thing ..hahahA.. I am sure he knows that
that's awesome that our notorious places are becoming more "tourist-friendly"!
good thing that they are unharmed and unrobbed after this vlog
You should visit Quiapo nowadays for the big change. I can even use my phone while walking in the streets of Quiapo unharmed and safe. I guess the new government changed a lot of things..
Senor duterte made a big change
He’s a good humble Food blogger. He respect more filipino food culture, the way he speak, giving compliments and always smiling.
Hello philippines, Indonesian here. People of philippines looks like indonesian more. Lol
Yes we do, when I was in Bandung I actually spoke Tagalog, I actually thought I was still in my country lol.
Filipino have 50% Indonesian Blood. That's why Spanish colonizerd called as Indios.
@@thinzki44 uh no, aside from the big difference between Indo and Indio, the reason is the Spaniards were actually looking for India, accdg. to Marco Polo is the land of Spice. Just like Columbus who referred to the native Americans as Indians, so did Magellan and other Spanish colonizers who came after. And Indio became a derogatory term used by the Spanish who looked down on brown skinned Filipinos.
@@thinzki44 I would agree though that both Indonesian and Malaysians share the same Ethnicity as us.
@@AntonioGuamil thanks for the information. It just only my thoughts not historicaly
You should also get a better tour guide who can explain further about the food. Not the one who says "it's tinapa, it's a fish". Thanks for coming to the Philippines Mark! it's good to have you here! I am sure you will enjoy your stay.
Herchel Niño I. Baliwas
Hahaha yeah you're right. Mark asked Anton about the hard white part of the balut and Anton replied the white part. 😬
Right?! That's what I am saying, Mark is very well diverse when it comes to food, but he does not know everything. It has to be explained for his viewers.
Herchel Niño I. Baliwas
I agree. Maybe Anton was just there to tag along with him since their friends? But yeah he needs someone who can guide him through his experience as a lot of Filipino food isn't mainstream and are unfamiliar.☺️
kulupingerzi yeah, maybe. but nevertheless, Mark will enjoy the Philippines for sure.
Herchel Niño I. Baliwas
