Entry level cars are comparable to two wheelers. In India when roads are bad and traffic is high you can't drive at high speed. Safety features need to be considered only if is driving at high speeds and on highways.
Does tiago 2022/23 XT automatic comes with drive modes of sports/city or eco ?

@@daddu1983 what is company intention and how people use it is different things. Smaller cars also not meant for long highways but people drive those on expressways also because they cant afford 2 cars one for city and one for highway.

There r many vehicles whose build quality is always below par. The Brands, Suzuki, Hyundai are known for compromises. We saw Kia being very poor in build quality. Same FOR MG Hector. Wish someone makes a detailed video on build quality. You may have airbags, EBS,ABS everything but if build quality is poor nothing can stop impact danger. Unfortunately, we r crazy about features n cost but ready to overlook build quality.

Agree with you Sir, But I own 2019 New santro basic model from it's basic variant it has ABS EBD ,single airbag ,though it has 2 star rating gncap I'm happy with the the build quality, space, never in these days rivals or even upper segments that's 4 cylinder silent Engine, smooth driving and peace of mind (with new car ) and also that was a far better choice than alto800 vxi with same budget.3yr complete happy with my car.1more thing to add sir .. Hyundai's best after sale Service.

I am driving celerio for the last six and half years, facing no problem. I used to be on tour and travel on highway everyday. If someone hit my car then have no clue what will happen? It depends on speed and crash angle.

Own a alto k10 2019 bs4 model.. Have done lucknow Delhi many times... Fairly enough driving on city n highways. Never felt unsafe or bad driving dynamics stability or braking issue. Engine refinement is next level. Tata is good but I am happy with my alto and still counting to many more miles n years or ownership and smile. Cheers to safe driving. 25k kms done so far and built is also good. A traveller hit it in front while reversing but it dint cause any dent. Just number plate got little curve which got rectified easily.
Sir it's not only whether you feel bad or gud it's about safety , it's like crossing a road without a zebra cross you may safe but it's not safe , so same way even though i understand Alto may be gud riding performance but it's very it's unsafe
@@rahulba1909 I agree it's not that strong and sturdy as a Tata car. I am just talking about it's ownership experience. Also I upgraded from a motorcycle to a car.. So a car is definitely safe than a motorbike brother. Also not everyone can afford a car worth 5 lacs or more.

People buy these low price cars because of budget constraints and city driving only. On the highway they are correctly not very suitable unless driven by responsible drivers. Tata cars are definately more safe than others in the mid and low price range.
Now days people focus more on size, build quality etc. and less on traffic rules and driving skills. So I request people to be aware of safety of others also and buy cars they can afford, cherish, can handle safely, responsibly.

I am owning Alto K10 for the last 10 years and have not faced any such problem as stated by you.
The car is not that weak as stated y you. The damage depends on the intensity of the hit.
As per your saying that the car should very heavy, then you are safe. As per your thinking all cars are unsafe, except the heavy ones.

Actually safety is in our hand. It depends upon person to person and how careful you are while driving and at what speed you drive any vehicle. We can't just depend on the car safety only. If you want your own safety and life than drive slow.....

My co worker is using celerio zxi automatic from Jan. 2016. Everyday to office driving is highway running of 55km. Completed 120000 km. It includes his 12 hour non stop drive from Coastal area to his home town. What I am suggesting is driving skill , no overspeeding (80-85kmph), and cool head is most essential. Still i hesitate to recommend new celerio.prefer Renault triber automatic

When a big truck hit ur car from back side OR a control less bus hits ur car by front side ..then how about the driving skills u have ??.. Whenever accident cases held between two vehicles, one of them always don't have good driving skills then other one who have skills, what can he do in that situation ??.. So all things are important ..Driving skills, Build quality, Road quality and the most important thing "Luck" ..but we all don't know about our luck, so we have to do maximum as we can for our safer life. So build quality is also very important. You should must buy a better build if u can afford it.. if u can't afford then it's ok

Don't just blame it sir. I have celerio cng 2019 model and in 3 yrs I drove it almost 76k kms. It's best and safe cause driving is depending on us. Regular servicing and safe traveling is more important

Youre just looking at global ncap and calling things unsafe 😅 All small cars within that budget get lower rating because of the absence of crumple zones. But thousands of people drive these cars for years with no incidents, because they do so carefully.
If you get rammed by a truck while in a tiago, you're still gonna get destroyed, and you can hang the 5 ncap stars over the hospital bed 😅 just buy a car which allows you to drive safely, with a clear field of vision, abs, proximity sensors, etc., follow the traffic rules and practice caution.
Uske baad, if its your time to go, then good luck. Driving, flying or even cooking comes with risk.

Well Sir I beg to differ on your view's of safe or unsafe cars. I think most of the car buyers do not agree with what you said.If you see the data of 10 Top selling cars of 2022, out of the 5 cars named by you, 3 of them are in that list
Usually a minimum of 7 Maruti cars are listed in top 10. For monthly sales.
Secondly when you tell us about unsafe care please inform us about how many of them are/were involved in road accidents till date.

All car bloggers have a tendency against MARUTI brand inspite of this brand is in India since last 40 yrs and it's market share has not gone ever for less than 38% of the total cars sold whatever may be their so called NCAP ratings.

Tiago costs 1.75 - 2.00 lakhs more than Alto. If one goes for Hyundai i20 it costs 4-5 lakhs more. Obviously, more money so more comfort.

आपके हिसाब से मोटर सायकिल तो खरीदना ही नही चाहिये । मोटर सायकिल तो एक्सीडेन्ट में माइनस स्टार लाती होगी । भाई हलकी कार को चलाने से बारीस और धूप धूल और कंकर से तो बच ही जाते हैं । हाँ ये बात जरूर हैं ज्यादा बजट हो तो मजबूत कार ही लेना चाहियें ।

Better choice is Ignis. For me Ignis Zeta is complete value for money. Only yesterday I booked the same for my son. It has 3 star rating, 1200 cc engine with very good features.
