Having worked on PCs for 20yrs at one point, never go with Intel. They have always built with Planned Obsolescence or Failures. AMDs ive built lasted for 10+yrs (almost 13 for the oldest). Id also check with your legal to see if Intel owes you given that they knew about this problem for years, since this can potentially affect your income ability.
My pc is 10+ years now i been planning on upgrading, but my 660gtx was getting to old for some games. So upgrade to and 7600 could not get it to work solo in first slot. So i have mt 660 in first slot and the 7600 in second slot then in settings make it priority. I sone times have to turn off and on the PC 2x times for everything to show on screen, but it works. Now because its running in second slot probably not getting the fastest speed out of that card it at lest i can play anything again at max settings.

AMD processors, Kingston HyperX RAM, nVidia AMD graphics cards, BioStar motherboards.
