I'm from the states, so this might be a stupid question, but what is "a ginger"? My assumption is hair color or... perhaps skin color? Is Charity a ginger? It's only human nature to wonder about a child that you didn't even know existed. Of course she'd want to meet him. But make it up to him? Hmm... don't think that would be possible, after all this time. Explaining why she left him and getting to know him... those are things most of us would naturally want to do.
