You actually inspired me to try translating the "Opowiadania" book. If I manage to do it I'll definitely try sending it over to you. ☺

That segment about Prussian Blue was harrowing. It felt like everything just clicked into place when you revealed that connection.

One of my favorite artists thank you so much for this video I was able to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for his artwork. It’s really sad his life ended the way it did and I’m sure someone may try to make some sort of connection between that and his art or His state of mind or I’ve even seen people try to make a spiritual connection but I digress.
overall this video was very well done so thank you
He seemed to very recluse which Is something that I shouldn’t be surprised by but still am

Some lesser known facts about Beksiński: In one interview said that his biggest fantasy was being r#ped by a woman and killed afterwards. He also said that WWII period was great because he could see german soldiers that he would draw frequently as a child. He would also use disposable plastic cups because he hated drinking from the same cup as his past self or something like that. He was weird.

Raped yes, killed no. Also she would has to be supermodel with high IQ dominatrix (his description). He was huge masochist. Funny enough he did not know for a long time. It' very obvious if you look at his erotic drawings.

This artist always reminds me of one of my favorite monologues.
"Art falls into two categories-- No, not the art. My bad. Artists fall into two categories"
"There are the ones who see something taking place in the world. Maybe it's the wrongdoings of their fellow pedestrians, maybe it's abuse of power by those siting on top of the pyramid scheme..."
"whatever it is, it feeds their inspiration and creativity and they desperately want to put their own spin on it."
"It must be very spontaneous I imagine. Painting a picture in an inspired frenzy or composing a piece of music that beats in sync with the world."
"I call these people extroverted artists."
"Then there are the other half of poor sods. The ones who dwell in their own thoughts and insight."
"They want to paint a picture of their inner world. Maybe in hopes that someone else would understand them a little bit better... Or maybe to connect with the few like minded individuals?"
"Maybe these artists would want to depict the pictures of times as well? But only if the even taking place would strike a chord with the monologue they are having with the world."
"I call these people introverted artists."
"Both sound selfish in their own right."
"The extroverted artists who benefit from the sufferings of others."
"While introverted artists on the other hand sound very self-centered, only wanting to talk about themselves."
    "..."
"Now that I think about it... There might be a third kind as well."
    "My favorite kind actually."
"Authors who don't even have a clear picture in mind when they start their creative process."
"They let the story write itself, let the brush strokes dictate the direction of the story instead trying to force their own will on it."
"Such chaotic process can lead to unexplored directions."
"Inspiration can be a chaotic process, don't you think?"

The is a dark humor to suffering. Do you know any military personnel who experienced combat? If not, get to know some. Their sense of humor is encouragable and fascinating. I understand it at least in the mannar I'm able to. It's so absurd that humans have the ability to project such evil towards others. And that knowledge inevitably ends up being so absurd it borders on the hilarious.
It's also a coping mechanism that people who have experienced darkness so fatal, rely on to stay sane. It's interesting, if you are in the throws of enlightenment you are able to grasp the complexities of nuance and understanding. The fact that existence is observable and ubiquitous is so intriguing to me. We dont understand that balance as a collective is inevitably.. reality. Some are able to see the reality of existence but most just exist.
I really think that it's important to be aware of the inevitable suffering we all experience. And to find contentment with it. To realize that it exists so that we may experience bliss is heartwrenching. But you can't have one without the other. There wouldn't be something to compare it to, so it would just be existence.
Interestingly it seems that langue is the construct of reality. It's the mode at which we interpret and communicate our understanding of our surroundings. And it's how we converse. And and it's how we comprehend existance. Think about it. How do we understand life? We get to those connections through deep introspection and communication.

13 minutes in and 4 pieces of art. Talk less about singular sentences this man at one time said and actually talk about the art, not what you think he was. This is a half baked biography not an iceberg.

Meanwhile polish people hearing you pronounce his name, thats a real nightmate. If any1 likes metal music, as shown in the video, kat is a really good band. Btw if you want to know more about people like Beksiński, people growing up in occupied Poland (the last time, dunno why everyone hates pierogi), they're called "pokolenie kolumbów".
