That former Wabash (N&W) line up by me (south suburbs of Chicago) is now primarily used by Metra commuter trains. They terminate at Manhattan IL where the line also terminates. I remember in the early 80’s it was quite a busy line for N&W.
I'm an on-site FGIS (federal grain inspection service) staff, and literally get to ride these locos and railcars all the time. We work consistently at Cullom, Charlotte, and used to very frequently at Colfax & Cropsey hand probing corn cars heading to the ethanol plant. Bizarre seeing my work sites and familiar railcars on video 😂

yeah that used to be roaring out of Landers Yard through oak lawn Palos Orland rolling right down to Decatur.
