- The new build is here!!! This 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is going to be our very first SUV build ever. We are super excited to see what these are all about and we can't wait to get it going. This build is going to need a good bit of work before we rip it, but we are prepared to take on this new challenge. Be sure to follow along and see how it turns out!!! Thanks for watching!!!

I'm finding it weirder and weirder that they don't have a place of their own. Piling up a million dollars worth of cars at your parent's house seems maladaptive. 2M subs and they can't get a place of their own, and in the South where you could buy a piece of property for a few thousand bucks? Weird. Another channel I watch with around 2M subs just bought a race track but these guys are still living with their parents.

Andrew Clancy I’m finding it weirder and weirder that people who clearly don’t watch enough of their videos to know there building a dope ass shop as we speak think they have the right to comment on these guys lives. If I had a million plus in cars they would be parked where the fuck I want not where you want.
You guys show so much respect to these vehicles. You took a vehicle, that's been wounded, taped up, and dirty from the auction, and you thoroughly clean it, and admire it, before you turn a single wrench on it. Then you fix them, and rip them like they want to be ripped. As a car guy who loves all types, and respects the industry, I love to see that kind of care.

A thorough detailing is always the first thing when taking possession of any used vehicle. You need to clean away all possible biological traces from whatever history might linger on it and make it feel like your own.

I despise slow down cruise control. If a driver is engaged in driving he can see what’s ahead. He doesn’t need the car to do stuff.
Also it watches the lane you are in and when you drift into the other lane it will turn the steering wheel and put you back into the lane.
Andrew G Not on a FCA product but on a Toyota Corolla rental for a week in California. On the interstate it would slow down behind an 18 wheeler way too soon. Trying to get enough RPMs to pass was tough. I-5 in the Central Valley has trucks in the left lane and the ACC interferes with trying to get speed when they move over. The Corolla was underpowered for sure. On a Trackhawk I expect there’s enough power for most any situation. Driving shouldn’t be a spectator sport, however, and on long trips my wife’s CR-V has cruise control helps reduce leg cramps for sure. My Silverado cruise control has no problem keeping set speed no matter where I am.

The front sensor is for adaptive cruise control. There is a daytime running light around the outside of the headlight and they are LED headlights. Yes, the carbon fiber is real. I can't wait to see it finished!! Love Your Videos!!!!!!!

Definitely have your work cut out for you. Roof damage will test your skills for sure, nothing you boys can't handle. Love the fact you bring it back to original with mostly OEM parts and no "backyard mechanic" patches going on. Good luck looking forward to seeing it progress.

There is a camera in that windshield. I work for Safelite Autoglass, after you get a new windshield you will need a Dynamic Recalibration. This will calibrate the lane departure function. Please film this, not many people understand how it works.

Very nice challenge. What I would like to see you guys build is a restomod, like an old Chevy, Ford, or Mopar. I dont understand why you have so much inventory and your not selling it off , but in some cases you havent even finished your previous projects. I understand why you keep some, they are priceless. You guys do good work.

Imman Nowoteb it removes the dirt to show the full extent of the damage. Scratches or dents covered by dirt can be easily missed.

I love that they wash the wrecked vehicle. I think it's where the rebuild really begins, like the simplest step in improving how the vehicle looks. And yeah, it lets you really see what you've got to deal with.
Also, why would anyone wanna work on a dirty car? I mean. Should they sandpaper the dirt away later on instead? Or just keep getting their clothes dirty everytime they lean against it? 😊

@@hartleywhite349 fastest 0-60 of any vehicle on the road. However, going higher than 60, aerodynamics comes in and thats where the trackhawk fails to compete with other dedicated sports cars.

I really like the challenge before you. It is a difficult project. You guys are possibility thinkers. You visualize what you can do to restore and rebuild a badly damaged car before you begin. I can't wait to see what you will do. This is a great car. I drove a 2018 just like this one. I love the color.

The battery is under front passenger seat. It is a full time 4x4 system that moves power distribution as needed. Regular driving I think is 20/80 split and adjusts as needed

Its a radar camera on the bumper , as well as the battery is laying inside the car behind the passenger side , latterly down the floor 🙋♂️😉
Great to see that you clean the cars at first, removing the residue from the glue and vacuuming the broken glas. Many others clean their cars at the very end of the project - its weird to see them working weeks or month on a dirty car.

In India, this car is called Jeep Compass (Honestly Trackhawk sounds way better) and it is the first jeep car that they released in India. It's a really great car and I just love those headlights. All the best Goonzquad for this build.
