Just starting as a goalie after playing for 3 years at nearly every position on the pitch. Loving it so far, great watching your videos to help bolster what my coach is telling me. Biggest problem so far is getting into my head that i can dive without getting hurt, spent my whole life trying to stay on my feet and not fall over.

How could I forget this video? I'm artist, and I never played hockey before. But some day my friends asked me play with them as goal keeper. I don't why I said yes, but I was repented in 10 minutes. I have finished my university careers, got different jobs, passed all my exams, but nothing could be so scared for me like be goal keeper. In fact, I decided didn't play in my first match, it was the most irresponsible thing I could do in my life, but I was terrified. But when I saw these videos, I could feel calm and carry on. Nowadays I still playing, and I'm so glad with you for share your time making videos for help people. Thanks you so much. 😀😀😀

Einfach immer wieder fragen. Zeig' ihnen, dass du es wirklich willst. Frag', ob du mal ein Training ins Tor darfst und dann kannst du zeigen, was du kannst. Im Endeffekt kannst du auch Druck ausüben und sagen, dass wenn du nicht ins Tor darfst, gar nicht mehr spielst. Oder macht einen Kompromiss: abwechselnd Tor und Feld

When I played at Pinoke I got the equipment of the club, so always had to give them back so other goalies could use it.

hello, i was wondering why he doesn't come further away from the goal and tighten his angles (that would make it easier to stop the ball)
I definitely do this in a match, but in training sessions it's not about saving all the balls, it's about getting better. And in this way you make it harder for yourself to become a better goalie!

Do you have like a top list of the most important things to keep in mind as a goalie?
I tried to summarize what those things are for me:
1. balance
2. communication
3. positioning
4. timing
5. coordination/technique
6. reaction-speed
Is there anything I missed out on?
All of the things above are very important, but I think you can add 2 more! Basic stance and eyes on the ball! 2 things you will see as normal, but at least 50% off all goals is caused by a lack of those!
