I've got this. It's great, and very historically accurate. The headsculpts are hot toys standard I'd say. Especially the neutral one. If the body does tear over time, it won't be seen anyway. I hope molecule8 or someone does Bon Scott and Kate Bush next!
The head was made by the sculptor Yulli, who made a lot of hot toys faces, she’s amazing, it’s a shame molecule 8 scammed her
I'm curious to know if they will make all the Beetles at some point, I'm sure fans would appreciate that. Maybe someone one day will make a Optibotimus figure... who knows? It may sell pretty well... ;) He he he! LOL Groovy review, Paul!

This is a bit new but i like it. Especially cause ive always been a fan of his (music) keep up the good work!!
The body reminds me of a Stretch Armstrong figure.
The reasons of the piano hands is the Chords he plays on Imagine. When you play C Chord your finger is lower than other hand. In the left hand only plays 2 notes with 1 & 5 finger. That makes you put that hand on that position.
Great figure, but like other comments it begs for a Beatles version/s such as: early Beatles (Cavern Club, leather jackets), Mop Tops/Beatlemania various matching suits from 1962-3-1966 (on tour), "Revolver" (1966), "Sergeant Peppers" (1967), "White Album-"Let it Be"/"Get Back"/"Abbey Road". Guitar wise though I thought he had stripped the paint off his Gibson Electric Acoustic whilst in the Beatles, so it would have had a natural wood finish with no Pickguard. I believe Donovan told him whilst they were in India that guitars sound better with less paint, although "The Fool" gave his Gibson a Psychedelic paint job before the paint was scraped off. The finish you see here looks more like how the Gibson was originally.
The round magnetic base is a real innovation. It just would have been nice if it had a logo and their name on it instead of just the bottom. But I would be more inclined to to get a HT oval stand w/EvilFace decals so it flows better with other figures on display.

Hii neat review im still debating on buying the item. Just a suggestion though.. can you lower your brightness? my brightness on my phone is all the way low but its still very hard to see clearly

... creepy. Something about recreating real people, as opposed to fictional characters, rubs me the wrong way.
Like the Hot Toys version of Arnold Schwarzenegger's "The Terminator".
I play guitar, and if i'm not mistaken, the accoustic guitar that Jhon use is Epiphone, and based of some of the pictures that i found on the internet compare to this figure and the guitar acceessories that he comes with, i think the guitar is too small, it shoud be atleast 5% bigger.
Actually the particular guitar here is a Gibson J-160e. Lennon and McCartney both used them as their main acoustics pretty much throughout their time in the Beatles (George occasionally played one of theirs too)
John and George each had a Gibson J-160e with sunburst finishes, while Paul had an Epiphone FT-79 Texan model in natural finish. Lennon had the sunburst finish removed from his 160e during The Beatles' later years and that is how the guitar appears to this day... so the included guitar is indeed the correct model. John did play an Epiphone but it was the semi-hollow body Casino electric guitar. M8 should've used a Martin D-28 guitar instead of the Gibson J-160e as that was his mainstay 6 string acoustic post-Beatles.

Hey man I'm a fan of your reviews but this Lennon review is really far fetched. I own the figure and also had the armpit torn, emailed customer service for a month now with no response back. The stand arrived scratched, the neck is entirely too long, the singing sculpt likes like a meth head. The endless list of issues with this figure go on and on and on. You have to be honest in your reviews man, this is not a figure people should buy. I think collectors are smart enough to determine when a review is "rigged" and by the looks of the amount of dislikes this video has, they are on to the scheme molecule8 is trying to pass off on collectors by paying off reviewers.
Okay well i can't really comment on your stand arriving scratched. Mine wasn't. I can't knock something for something that didn't show up on my figure. I am honest in my review. If you don't like it, that's your problem. The armpit tear is something i said i had. I contacted their customer support and had a replacement sent out to me in about 2 weeks or so. As i said in the video, that's more than i can say for things like the Hot Toys ED-209 which didn't offer ANY means to replace that disaster. I didn't get paid for this review. I bought the figure myself and it was because i wanted to take an honest look at it. FTC AND TH-cam regulations require if there is any sort of paid advertisement or if you get something, you have to disclose that, which i do every time i get something given to me free to review. I didn't this time, sorry.

It’s a $175/$200 Figure..... $300?? WAY TOO OVERPRICED!!! They are crazy!! This figure is not worth $300!! I know you say that it is, but you sound like a shill for Molecule 8..... the QC issues shouldn’t be happening with this figure, not at this price point...it really doesn’t come with that much. Plus.. this is a new figure company.... They have a lot to learn about making figures. Hopefully they learn from their mistakes. Have you read the Molecule 8 Facebook page?? It’s all complaints about this figure. This figure feels like a knock off almost. Lennon would be turning in his grave over this overpriced commercialism!! 300? That’s ludicrous. I would get it for $175 but 300$ is just a joke!! Glad you enjoy it but this whole review feels fake and untrue. Just my opinion.
