I dnt know about others but I'm using online transfer since long... Paytm was not then... There was a company called Freecharge better than paytm... But then with the blessings of Present Government Paytm blossom & Freecharge cudnt keep pace with the System 🙏

Freecharge? The one that fintech entrepreneur Kunal Shah sold in 2015 to Snapdeal for Rs 2,400 crore (US$289 million). Paytm didn't grew as fast as phonepe or Gpay, ignore GPay since Google is huge but he could've took phonepe in intial days since Paytm was the first mover in market.

PayTM is responsible for the crisis. This is a classic case of what companies who do not care for regulators and are confident they can get away with it do - do as you will and then put a gun to the regulator's head to regularize what they have done - in the process making guys who follow the rules look like fools. Unfortunately it found a regulator that stands its ground and cannot be blackmailed. We are the RBI and not the Fed that you can put a gun to our head and get us to do your bidding. Just does not happen with RBI in India.

i feel pity but paytm has no support for any transactions. the customer care number has only machine response ..no matter what option you select in Ivr, it wont connect you to an agent. Also their chat support is very slow & doesnt respond properly. Just imagine how pathetic the experience of a user can be.
Recently i ordered a soundbox but after delivery, i cant see it being linked to my profile. complained multiple times but no help. very very sad
