Great great sir, i like ur explanation sir

As always awesome !! Would try to create the portfolio dashboard... Quite challenging!
Also request if you can do a video on a crm data... I have 1000s of client contact data, duplicates, multi contact in same co and issues with timely follow up...combine this to sales pipeline report would be an awesome DIY project!
You are welcome Anuj. I already made a portfolio dashboard. See it here - chandoo.org/wp/design-project-portfolio-dashboard/
Really awesome. One suggestion for donought chart is if you can reduce transparency little for green part it would look aesthetic.
3:48 use ctrl then try to group
Thats brilliant - I am finding your videos very informative. Can you make a video on how to track a project Yearly basis (Not daily, not monthly) in Gantt Chart? Is there any way to do it?
You can do it easily with the current set up. Instead of =previous day + 1, use =EDATE(previous day, 12) to generate the dates in years on top. Rest everything can remain the same. If you want, you can use round up the end date to year end so that if a project finishes after first half of the year, the cell gets highlighted.
Thanks sir.
I have a request.
you have covered all topic very well in many videos.
could you make a playlist on data analysis basic to advance.
you know better than excel has many features.
when we learn things in logical sequence easy to difficult, we learn fast.
Maybe we skip many topic and think that i know it.
sometimes we do not understand importance of any simple feature whenever we do not do a project or real life problem.
I hope your will make.
Hi Anand... thanks for the suggestion. I already have themed playlists on the channel. Here are two I recommend you to watch.
1. Essential Excel Formulas - th-cam.com/video/-yFpzIRifK4/w-d-xo.html
2. Power of Pivot Tables - th-cam.com/video/Kg7aZBtAWd0/w-d-xo.html
Also checkout my Advanced Excel Skills page for a single point of reference on all data analysis concept - chandoo.org/wp/advanced-excel-skills/
All the best.
Thanks! This is so helpful. However, I am having trouble with the traffic light. When I paste it to the new sheet, it is not linking to the formula. What am I doing wrong?
You are welcome Seetha...
After copying, click on the picture link and check your formula. It should point to the range in traffic light worksheet. If not, just readjust.
Chandoo can you demo survey result analysis in pivot? Likert scale and free text for thematical representation. Thanks
Please create KPI indicators in Power BI..
Thanks Chandoo - I am having a problem with the Paste special - i.e. I can copy to a pic but there seems to be a problem wrt the clipboard when attempting the paste special link, i.e. to dynamically copy all the conditional formats - anyone for some guidance please?
You need to do this in two steps.
1. First paste the link.
2. Next copy again, but this time just paste formatting alone (use copy paste special or format painter)
Hope that helps.
That's a great trick but Please how do i select the inner part (that is 90%) of the bar chart during the Thermometer's phase or stage so that i can select the fill color.
Good question. If you cannot select it from the chart, use the chart design ribbon to select the chart element (should be on the top left corner) or select anything else on the chart, go to format and from the top area click on ▼ thing and pick the 90% series.
@@chandoo_ Wow ... That really helped. I appreciate that so much...👍🏽
Awosem
Hi Mr Chandu i'm unable to create that conditional format first rule which is green colour
There is no first rule. You just fill the cell with GREEN color using Home > Fill color option. If neither of the other two rules work, then GREEN will show up.
Need to slow down, could not follow donut chart.....frustrating
Again volume is low in the video!
Its very fast
