I also do this technique but a little different with the nose part. I used to draw circle in the nose area and draw V to get the nose tip. great video. what I got from this is that base lines are a good foundation for the final product but to always keep in mind that the base line does not have to start off as the desired way. I do the mistake of drawing it the way the shape is and then my sizing or placement is all wrong. That is why I do better in painting on top cause I can do the dimensions with color for texture. Very good video, I learned a lot here. Thanks ! Will try it out!
( I do digital art and traditional ) You don't realize how much this helped me whenever I drew a circle and then the lines to make the jaw it came out looking weird Then I tried only doing the cross and then directly Sketching the whole face AND IT WORK thank you so much I'm definitely looking at more of your videos your lines and tips Made me make a good looking face for the first time

So beautiful! I also really appreciate that you drew a guy, it's sometimes difficult to find videos, especially ones in this style, that have a guy as the subject, so that was super useful and cool to see!

Probably the best, most comprehensive guide I've seen on the subject. Also has a ton of helpful visual aid. But goddamnit, it can't possibly be that difficult to put a black bar behind your white text so that it doesn't blend with the paper or your white sleeve. It would also be super nice if that text wasn't placed so low in the video that TH-cam's navigation bar covered it whenever the mouse was moved. Still the best video though, even considering the double rookie mistake.
