Never hurts, no matter how long we've been in the profession, to see what others are doing technique wise. Thank you so much for watching and happy to know I could help a seasoned LMT!!
wish you were my teacher when i was in school. you have a great way of explaining and really make it look easy. thanks for giving me some new techniques!
What a video! What a massage! I was fighting falling asleep while learning these fantastic techniques, SO RELAXING! can’t wait to practice on my next client. Thank you!
From one LMT to another you are a truly gifted great therapist and with great body mechanics,. that is a massage i would happily pay for ,young man you are going to blow up you tube .thanks for the great video keep up the great work
Have just discovered your channel, I really love the politeness in your video, I appreciate please keep it. Am a masseuse therapist too and watching it so comfortably an I learn the new techniques ❤️
Rob thanks for this awesome video it is really informative lots of therapists they make videos without information what really they are doing but yours is the best when you are speaking telling what you are doing please make more massage videos specially for deep massage work Thanks
Keep making videos like this, your channel will grow. People love massage tutorials that are also relaxing. Those channels that have background music are so annoying. This is perfecf
I'm Soo relaxed just by watching videos like this! I could imagine if I was the patient 😂 I pretend in my mind as I'm watching it's me being massaged! Lol
Thanks, you have alot of good techniques. I came for inspiration, I'm getting lazy, I think. Im down to just using my palm, fist and forearm... need to remember how to use other tools. I appreciate how you communicate exactly where your hand position is by talking about the muscles. Thanks
Glad you liked the video. I resonate heavily with getting lazy and sticking with only a few techniques. For that reason I take some courses, trade with friends and even watch videos to keep myself fresh!
I'm an empath that absorbs everyone else's energy and I'm sure it's vice versa. I need to learn how to create barriers. When someone is happy and excited, my mood will be elevated, which is wonderful. The other direction, when someone is sad and, especially anxious, I soak it up like a sponge. Any advice?
@melissaboylan4798 try to realize it in that moment when u catch someone's emotions. You can't change people anyway so just leave the room or take a deep breath and and stay in your energy. We need to practice that. It makes is very 💪 and conscious.
Omg i am an esthetician/massage therapist. I have more clients that requests for me to massage and I see you using most of the technique that I have already used. I am looking forward into applying more techniques that I have learnt today from you.
"certain anatomy resting on the back of your client's head" lol. As a large breasted woman, I do that technique standing up in a squat. Loved your video and explanations by the way, I've just subscribed to your channel.
HA I definitely don't have issues with that, but I'm sure there are plenty of ways to adapt! Thank you for watching and subscribing, more content coming out this year so be on the watch!!
YOUR HANDS ARE GREAT TO WATCH ROB! but let me ask you as a LMT, how tired are your arms/hands/cervical region after a day of massage? i feel like im doing it wrong if im tired??
Over the years it has come to grow on me the stress on those areas. Mostly hands. After a full day they can be a little tiered. I do my best to change up my routine and the techniques that I use to not keep getting the same stresses on my hands. Perhaps I can make a video on this topic. I can suggest recording yourself performing a massage to have a 3rd person perspective on your body mechanics.
Short answer: They could be used for either, you would just change the application/approach in your session based off of the modality. Long answer: *WARNING UNPOPULAR OPINIONS INBOUND* First we must understand that all of the massage manipulations in our arsenal (Effleurage, petrissage, etc..) serve the purpose of the definition of Massage Therapy which is, "the manual manipulation of the soft tissues of the body for therapeutic or palliative purposes." Then we must ask ourselves, what is the difference between Swedish and Deep tissue, or any other modality for that matter. In my opinion modalities only specify the purpose/intent of the massage and there are a lot of overlapping similarities in both goals and implementations between a lot of our modalities. The running joke to me and many other massage therapists is that the difference between Swedish and Deep tissue is $10 lol. Deep tissue is meant to address the deeper muscles of the body, while Swedish is meant to be more overall encompassing and relaxing. But does Swedish not work deeper muscles of the body? And can you not address the totality of the body and acquire a relaxing result by the end of a deep tissue session? Sure, deep tissue may only have enough time to address the specifities of the clients goals, and Swedish may not have time to be as specific as deep tissue, but I feel they aren't, or don't have to be mutually exclusive. Ultimately, I never say I do one modality over the other. I simply offer massage therapy and provide customized massage sessions curtailed to my clients goals utilizing any and every influenced modality and technique that I need to achieve that goal.
For 50 minutes, yes, unless the client wants their back focused on the most. For 90 and 120, not really. Ultimately this is a demonstration of techniques that therapists can pick and choose from to make their own custom routine.
@@bodyworksbyrob5836 I thought I saw a man because of the haircut, armpit hair, and body as well. Hopefully, you will make new videos this year featuring both men and women.
This was so relaxing to watch :) As an LMT of 15 years, I always learn something new when watching someone else do massage. Thanks for sharing!

Rob when wearing black your energy field absorbs everything from your client. 🙏🏻
Interesting. Thanks for that information!
Really ? Can you explain more please
Black makes you open for energies around you. White will block it. 😊

Genial Profe, pero le sugiero que haga otro desde un ángulo mejor, estático y actualizado, porque estoy seguro que ahora debe estar mejor ese masaje

Who take a video? It didn’t take good video.
That’s a very long back routine! Almost no time to focus on the rest of the body!

Yes. I’m about to start offering routine specific services. A lot of people don’t like full body massages or want the option of which area so work on.
